This story was so frustrating lmao. I hate that I’m always drawn into these particular stories of best friends turned lovers lol. They always make the words I love you hold all the power. Like bleep every action this man shows me let me force him into saying I love you. And then I hate that he opened up to her about Jasmine because God damn girl the amount of times she brought that girl up annoyed me to the bones! AHHHHH 😤

Really enjoyed this story! I read it already but decided to listen since it was included in audible since I really liked it the first time I read it. I always enjoy Toni Aleo’s books.

Terrible

Female narrator voice is so whiny it’s annoying! Lead male does a good job! The storyline sans the clumsy intimate scenes is more for a preteen audience. It is so immature seems author is confused on her audience. Waste of time and a credit! Need stronger characters and material!

It could have been great if the author didn’t want to draw it out

I really liked the main characters and their relationship, at first. When hours passed with nothing happening other than idle talk an internal monologue it became clear that the author would not let this play out naturally. Cue in extra drama and exaggerated reactions. It was disappointing.
