The more you read the more you know

I've been interested in speed reading for a long time and have read 2 books about it in the past. What I like most about this book is the eye exercise. I think that it is quite unique. However, in terms of the techniques provided, I think it could have been better integrated into one coherent method. Like any speed reading practice, you will need an actual book to read and practice. Newspaper or magazine column is perfect. This audiobook only provides you with tips and techniques. The key is to apply and practice. I also think that speed reading can be more difficult to apply when it's a topic you are not familiar with or if the book is not written in your primary language. Overall, I recommend this book for beginner who wants to get into speed reading. It would be nice if the audiobook comes with an attached PDF with reading exercises we can use for practice.

Extremely Applicable

Bought this audiobook as I'm looking to be cramming for a series thematic literary tests, and was hoping to up my reading speed + comprehension in time to apply for test prep. This book definitely delivered! The techniques, practices, and exercises have all improved my reading speed significantly from before. The more I go back and practice, the faster my reading ability becomes.

The great thing about this title is that it also helps you not only read fast, but RETAIN the content you are reading. Because reading fast is useless without comprehension, the techniques in this book to help build retention while increasing your reading speed are incredibly useful. Despite the fact that this was an audiobook, I found the format to still be functional for my uses, and assume they would be for others as well. For anyone looking to boost their reading speed, I would definitely check this title out!

I liked how the author put in eye exercises in this book to help you. He also explains how you can fit reading more and more in your life. I am definitely going to try these exersies and I can already say I am improving!
