Publisher's summary

A suspicious fire. A Valentine’s Day discovery. Will this psychic sleuth gamble - and lose?

Mitzy Moon’s clairvoyant abilities are growing, but she never predicted arson. After waking to a towering inferno and loading her mentor into an ambulance, she thought things couldn’t get worse. But when the sheriff links her father to the blaze, she’s forced to take the case.

Coming up empty on love and leads pushes Mitzy to unnecessary risks. Now her otherworldly helpers, a nosy Ghost-ma and a fiendish feline, are the only ones who can save her bacon. But with break-ins, Bingo, and big storms stalling out her investigation, she may not be able to keep her dad out of jail.

Can Mitzy dig up the right clues, or will she fall for a sinister plot that puts her six feet under?

Sparks and Landmarks is the fourth book in the hilarious paranormal cozy mystery series, Mitzy Moon Mysteries. If you like snarky heroines, supernatural intrigue, and a dash of romance, then you’ll love Trixie Silvertale’s twisty whodunits.

Good next book in this series

This is such a good series. This book also has a interesting and ever developing plot that goes from a possible Bingo cheater, to arson, to a very dangerous situation for Mitzy. Mitzy attempts to use her clairvoyant skills to help Twiggy see what is going on at the Bingo hall. The building next door to the bookstore burns to the ground and a body is found inside. It takes awhile for the body to be identified with Mitzy's help, after a dangerous fall for Mitzy. The fire points to her father and her possible romantic interest is missing . The plot thickens and once again Mitzy stumbles in deeper than she intended. Fast paced, exciting ending with a Knight on a white horse ending. Funny moments and colorful characters.

Fun

These are just plain fun. Never change narrator from Ms. Marlo! I'm already looking for the next title.

Quest for Truth!

Once again Mitzy is on a quest for the truth to a murder in her town to save someone she loves and this time it might end up being her own life that needs saved if she gets too close to the truth! A fire, a murder, a broken leg and a massive snow storm are all on the agenda in this book and you won't want to miss one entertaining minute of it as the audiobook once again does not disappoint! The narrator really helps bring the characters to life and give each a unique personality that will have you laughing along with! The relationships being built among the characters is getting deeper all the time as well so you won't want to miss this book at all! If you haven't started this series yet, then you definitely need to get on it as you're missing out on the fun! So far, I've enjoyed the first 4 books via audiobook and hope that there are more!

What a great book!

I have come to really love the characters of this series. Mitzy of course, with her tough-as-nails attitude but with her big heart. Ghost-ma who remains such a favorite of mine. Pyewacket, the caracal, who plays a very important role, and whose powers are developing. I just love Pye! Silas who becomes more and more dear to me. Twiggy with her cackles. And Odell - gotta love Odell; I love no-nonsense people. Oh and I almost forgot Dad! The ex-con, which makes some people automatically suspicious. This is a great series and I am so glad I discovered it. This one would work fine as a standalone; the mystery stands on its own perfectly and the personal details are well explained (but not too long for series-readers).

In this book, the first case Mitzy has to solve is a case of cheating at bingo. Bingo? Yes, bingo! Of course there’s more, way more. A big fire next door, an evacuation - but what about Grams?! She’s tied to the bookstore! A fast-paced, breathtakingly suspenseful, surprising mystery that was clever and full of humor. Mitzy still has so much to learn - like people skills lol. I was so immersed in the story, that I actually thought about how I’d still have to shovel snow - in the book there’s a lot of snow, but here none. None! That’s how real it felt! Great book!!!

The narrator really makes this story come alive. She does the different characters brilliantly. And she’s so easy to understand too, which for me, as a non-native English speaker, is so important!

Love this!

Mitzy Moon is in trouble again! There's been a murder and a fire. After a midnight break in at the book store that Mitzy inherited from her grandmother, it looks like someone is trying to frame Mitzy's father. With the help of her friends and a rescue by Pyewacket, Mitzy won't quit until the mystery is solved! A rollicking good read!

fun series

I love a book that still has me laughing after finished, the movie and tv reference keeps popping in my head , too funny. I really enjoy Mitzy , in this one the fire next door hits a little to close to home , Mitzy has to put her sleuthing skills to use fast to find out who really murdered the person found in the fire and set up her father to take the fall. Mitzy with her witty trademark ways is a fun character that I cant wait to see what happens next .

Thoroughly enjoyable

The Mitzi Moon series have all been fast-paced, delightful, cozy mysteries. This book continues in the same vein. I look forward to listening to the next book.
