I greatly underestimated this read. The characters were forced to face their vulnerabilities and the narrators blew me away with their performances.

So good!

Lots of feels and perfect for fall time of year. Characters are perfectly flawed. Story is interesting and told with lots of scenic descriptions to go with the story but not overly so to the point of boring. Loved this book!

10/10 Narrators

I looooove Lyla Sage books. Both narrators on this are fantastic. When Jason Clarke is on the book, I just know the MMC is going to be a grump.

Slightly Spooky intrigue

loved the storyline of this, delving in the supernatural/ghosts, but not scary, just unique and intriguing. narration was perfect from both narrators as expected with these pros. loved the male hero character in this book, so sweet yet sexy. not and asshole, just a nice, supportive handsome guy.

what a great book, the theme was unique and it was great to hear hints of Meadow Lark here and there, can't wait to see what comes next! Fabulous one

A real treat!

Really enjoyed this audiobook! The characters were likable, the story was interesting and fun (perfect Fall read!), and the narration was excellent. I’m super picky about narrators, but these two nailed it. The open-door spice level was just right - enough to add heat without overtaking the entire story. I especially loved that the usual experience dynamic (FMC typically having less “spice” experience) was flipped in this book. It brought such a refreshing twist I don’t often come across. All in all - totally worth a credit, absolutely recommend and look forward to more books from this series!

Brady & Collin’s 🧡

THIS! This fantastic story about a girl who can see & communicate with ghosts, an upholsterer who loves her, and the grumpy geezer with a plethora of “odd pets.” 🤣 I loved this for so many reasons… Narration: It’s Samantha B & Jason Clarke. Enough said. I always say they outdo themselves with each new release, but they DO! Especially with this one! They bring Brady and Collins to life in such a unique way. And Brady… 🥵 it’s always the quiet ones, ya know? 😏 I am salivating for the next book in this series since we’re left with a little cliffhanger… 😉 Lyla Sage can write no wrong! 🙌🏻

I listened while i read along because im extra but this audio book is sooo good! Perfect fall read but could be enjoyed any time of the year. Loved the addition of the ghosts that was not over done or hokey. Brady and Collins were just 🔥🔥

I don't think anyone else could've been better than Jason & Samantha as Collins and Brady. They were exactly how I pictured them when I was reading and this audiobook made me love this book and the characters even more.
