Book 3 was awesome.

This had so much love, action, I could hardly put it down. That's why it's after 3 AM That I finally finished it. *wink*

Evangeline Anderson has her genre nailed!

Loved it! can't wait for the next installment in the series of audio books! Keep them coming.

Iffy

up to the 3rd in the series and not sure if I'll buy the 4th. the females spend most of the book acting like preteens angsting about sex unable to even speak of it to other females. this one has a self destructive male who gives into his destructive urges over and over and over again.

Great Story Line As Always, But Laurens Voice.....

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Yes, its a fun "out-of-this-world" read. Literally. But it still appeals to the romantic at heart.

What did you like best about this story?

I like the adventure and how I never knew what was coming up. It has unpredictable moments, lots of them, which made it hard for me not to want to listen every chance I got.

What does Anne Johnstonbrown bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Anne Johnstonbrown is a fabulous narrator. That is why I was so disappointed with how she did Laurens voice. So, Lauren is bi-racial (African American and White). And she is described and educated and from California. So I expected to hear that reflected. Instead, she made her sound like a old country bumpkin. Her voice does not match the authors description of her at all. It was like listening to my grandmother. She is young and beautiful and her voice for her held no youth at all. Being African American, it was a let down. She would have been better off making her sound more like Olivia with a west coast accent. I almost didn't want to listen because I was so disappointed. But I enjoy the series so I toughed it out, but many times I found myself wincing and rolling my eyes because it didn't go together.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

Yes, the scene with Deep and the Mother of Life.
