Help! Charlie Miller (Ashley Benson), a D-list reality TV star with a rabid fan base, has just gone missing off the coast of Key Biscayne, Florida. On the case are Mark Green (Zachary Quinto), a deskbound police department employee with an encyclopedic knowledge of celebrity gossip, and Tiana Jones (Michelle Buteau), his no-nonsense colleague. After Mark and Tiana pose as detectives to find Charlie, the case gains national media attention, and the two quickly find themselves in a firestorm of basic bitches, gun-toting bookies, and cutthroat momagers. Sorry Charlie Miller is a TikTok-era mystery with twists, turns, and a whole lot of questionable fashion choices. It takes place in Florida, hello.

Didn’t make it 5 minutes

Stupid and vulgar. I can handle stupid for a while but so much vulgarity in a short span completely puts me off. I also could not understand the lead female. Not worth continuing.

Hilarious from beginning to end!

This podcast kept me in stitches. The acting in this podcast had me wanting more and I wish their detective work kept going! Audible should do more episodes! This was one of my favorites. The chemistry between the actors makes the performance great!

Silly, all over the place and just excellent.

Most of the time I don't like acted books but this one is pure perfection. The two main characters are a full on mess, tumbling through the investigation like a drunk giraffe. It is brilliantly acted, the characters are distinct and I giggled my way throughout the series. Fully recommend.

Much fun

Quirky, very silly. A bit off the wall - I can see why it didn't float the boat of others but I loved it. Actually made me laugh out loud in places and was a good distraction whilst doing some mundane stuff.

Magically stupid

This is a modern American version of the archetypal BBC radio detective stories. If you're not from the UK, it's a lovely balance between intrigue, witty dialogue, low level emotional strife, and slow paced sleuthing. It's not taxing, but it's very fun, has some laugh out loud moments, and is eminently enjoyable.

Entertainment for ironing

I added this to my (actually my husband’s) library for something to listen to whilst ironing. Found it very entertaining/light hearted. Daft as anything but made me laugh out loud in parts. Who knew Spock could be so camp? Don’t listen if you’re looking for depth but if a little light silliness is called for this ticks the box. More please.

Quirky, different, entertaining, funny.

This one might depend on your humour. I don’t know what I was expecting, but it wasn’t this, and I loved it. Loved the little jingles here and there. I listened to all of the stories with Zachary Quinto in them after yet this.
Don’t expect award winning writing, it’s just lighthearted and fun.
