I love these narrators!

The characters took a few chapters to get into but when I did I really loved it! I didn’t like how Insecure she we but I got used to it.

Anything Christian Fox does is gold!!

This book was pure perfection!!! it stole my heart and captivated me. It is a true love story. ...and the narration .... award winning worthy! Christian Fox and Virginia Rose are beautiful together!

Unsolveable situation... how will there be a HEA?

The story starts off very weak... she's a bimbo... Bridget... can't make good decisions and stand up for herself... but then she's very young. So, maybe that's normal. Annoying to listen to her naive internal babel. BUT Grant... he seems to be a very strong gorgeous successful man but is he?... he makes a move on her when she confessed to being sexually harassed hours before. So, he gives her tequila and makes a move on her. This is how everything starts.... boring eh?

HOWEVER... once you get into the story and find out that Grant is trapped... then the interest begins. I couldn't put the book down. I had to find out how these two people would get together. So, I'm thinking of ways... and couldn't come up with a solution for their HEA. This is what kept me up all night till I finished the book.

Their chemistry is okay I guess... most part of the book they had to refrain from each other because Grant is married. Bummer!! No, I did not reveal anything. No, marriage is not the trap either. It's something more complex.

The narration is just perfect. Virginia Rose and Christian Fox do an amazing job.

Overall, believe it or not, I liked this story better than the first. And, I do recommend this book because the story grips you and makes you want to figure things out... but you won't be able to. It's not predictable!! That's what I loved about this book.

Good Story

Narration was excellent, great story line. This one was about a toxic relationship, finding a new love interest and in the end finding humility. I would have liked to see the female character with just a little more backbone, I thought she might start boiling bunnies (she didn't). I would recommend the book.

Really enjoyed this book. It was absolutely addicting! The plot definitely surprised me with the unexpected twists and unveiling of secrets.
Christian Fox and Virginia Rose sound amazing together. Definitely recommend!!

wonderful story

Such a beautiful narration and amazing story! I enjoyed this audiobook and the characters in it !

Great listen!

I enjoyed the story and the narration. I finished it in two days. It’s a story about redemption and pulling out of a toxic relationship beyond repair. It’s also about finding real love when you’ve almost given up on it.

Great book

I really enjoyed listening to this book! It was well done. And the narrators were really amazing! Highly recommend.

Characters were just not for me

Bridget is a pushover. Everyone in her life (sister, boss, client, Hero) takes advantage of her and she let's them. Weak. Even her friend mocks her.

Grant is a jerk. He not only gets her drunk and makes a move on her after finding her distraught over being sexually harassed, he takes her to the back alley of his members only club when she agrees to his advances. Really?

These characters aren't for me. DNF @15%

50 shades of codependency!

Sorry, I could not get into this one folks! I pride myself on leaving five star reviews, but had a hard time getting through this book.
Our leading male is awkward and a very unlikable character in my opinion. Our leading female starts off good and slides into a codependent, weak female. Not sure why our author Ava chooses to write weak women?! Zoinks!

The storyline did not jive with me. Typical Married guy telling the typical secretary he was going to get divorced and leave his wife ....yada yada yada. Also, once you get past the halfway point of this book more and more just did not make sense.

Spoiler alert, please don't read this if you haven't finished the book...

If the kid was never his, there would be no point of him staying with his wife... so the storyline made absolutely zero sense to me! Just sayin! He had plenty of wealth and power to divorce his wife and chose not to. (entitled much?)

On the upside folks, this book had stellar narration. Hats off to Virginia and Christian. Thank you for bringing the characters to life. The romance scenes in this book were beautifully written!

Onto the next romance book amigas!
