great story

I loved it. The story is multi faceted with strong characters. The narration was magnificent.

Has everything

Elements of adventure, romance and betrayal span oceans and eras. I am looking forward to part 2.

In love with the characters!

My first time listening/reading this author. She is now on my go to list of authors. The story grabs you right away with banter between friends and brothers. Strong characters who fish the sea off a Greek island. Their bond is tested throughout this story of love, tragedy, repentance, and finally deliverance - spanning years.
With such accolades for Warren, I would be remiss if no mention of Nickolay’s superlative narration was made! His ability to consistently give each character a voice recognized through the tale. His cadence and emphasis and even volume is spot on! I was immersed and mesmerized by his acting.
A team that satisfied and did justice to both author and narrator’s superb skills.

Traumatic

An entire well-written chain of traumatic events. The only relief is the last minutes.

Tempers Flare.

This story was not uplifting or enjoyable. I did not finish it. It begins with characters who show no self control. One character kills another in the beginning and it's just goes down from there.
