I laughed, I cried, I felt deeply moved. Listening to Sonny Sandoval narrating his own story was such a powerful experience! It felt like sitting across from him, hearing his life firsthand. Starting with the audiobook was absolutely the right decision. His voice, his emotion, his authenticity… it made everything feel so real and personal.
This book took over my heart and my time – I couldn’t stop listening, even late into the night. Every chapter held something unexpected. I smiled, I wept, and I felt inspired.

The song at the end was the perfect!

This is an absolute must-read (and must-listen) for every P.O.D. fan, but also for anyone who loves a story of transformation, pain, faith. I wholeheartedly recommend it.

Loved to learn what was behind many songs of POD and the life of Sony! His heart and the love for God & a free life!

I could not stop listening!

This is one of the best books that I have listened to. If you are a fan of P.O.D. and their, this book takes you deeper into their start and their journey as a band. You will love their music even more!

Great read smashed through it

I highly recommend this book. Anybody wants to know a great story about a great guy.

Dreams do come true

As a long time fan of P.O.D. I thought I knew all there was to know. This book was a front row seat into the life of the lead singer of my favorite band. Riding the ups, downs, challenges and successes all while give praise to Jesus. I couldn’t stop listening. Although I already read the book, it hit different in Sony’s own words, with his own voice. A must listen.

Everything I’ve been feeling about church, Christianity and religion

Disillusioned by religion and the “Christian bubble” full of condemnation, I have been seeking to regain a real relationship with Jesus, not realizing there were others like me. Sonny’s words give me hope that Hod is still real and a relationship with Him in this current messed up world full of hypocritical Christianity is possible.

I love Sonny and it was great to hear all the behind the scenes P.O.D. stories but his testimony is the best part. God is good!
