Meet Anika, Mia, and Legacy, three friends going through the trials and tribulations of love and heartache. When Anika is forced to face the truth she was so determined to find, her world comes crumbling down, and she has to decide whether to love herself first or stay in a relationship that could destroy her.

Mia is given a reality check and quickly learns that looks don't always keep a man, and that sometimes men make promises they can't keep to get what they want. Legacy is tired of being put on the back-burner and finally realizes she deserves better. Unfortunately, her other half plays on her low self-esteem and uses it to his advantage, but Legacy has had enough.

The women find themselves sacrificing their values, morals, and standards over men who toy with their feelings and emotions. When the drama and secrets become deeper than one could imagine, this trio fights to find the love for themselves again while they struggle to let go of the men who are not quite right for them. Will these three overcome their insecurities, or will they stay in their feelings and keep holding on to the wrong damn man?

Great Read/Listen!

Loved it! The combination of a strong storyline with twists and turns coupled with an engaging narrator who breathed life into the characters made this an amazing book.

Good listin, lots of drama.

I really enjoyed this book I listened twice and at first all I thought was these females are dumb but then I realized this is something all women can go thur (just not me lol)

Too graphic and messy for my taste

The vulgarity and explicit content of this book cheapened the story for me. I found it to be low-brow and portrays Black men as trifling and stereotypical "dogs" and liars. The women are portrayed as thirsty and argumentative. While I'm glad for these folks getting what they deserve--be it good or bad--I was neither surprised nor touched in any profound way by the storyline or the ending of this book.

Good story. Good Narration. Loved it. About to download part two. This is the third book I've read by this author. She does not disappoint!

I loved it listened to it like a movie

Loved it, wish there was a man n women narration but was engaged more then I thought I wld be cldnt stop listening or if I had to wait it was to long. ready for book 2
