Publisher's summary

#1 PUBLISHERS WEEKLY BESTSELLER! USA TODAY Bestseller!

This book is a compilation of small observations and musings. It's filled with moments of reflection and a love letter to simple joys: passing a simple blade of grass on the sidewalk, the freedom of peeing outdoors late at night, or the way a hand-built ceramic mug feels when it's full of warm tea on a chilly morning. It's a catalog and a compendium that examines the complicated experience of being all too human and interacting with a complex, confounding, breathtaking world ... and a reminder to stop and be awake and alive in yourself.

Love, Life and Garbage Trucks

Two young lovers beat the odds and see their love blossom into maturity. In the end life destroys their fairy tale, but the poet remains unbroken. These poems are touching, heartbreaking and occasionally hilarious, like when suddenly remembering its garbage day interrupts a lovers moment. (We’ve all been there, right?) Highly recommend.

very entertaining & relaxing

I loved listening to Misha read his poems & and share his thoughts a couple of them made me cry. I often listened when I was getting ready for bed so I found it very relaxing

A beautiful collection of poems

Your poems are beautiful, I love each and every one of them and hope you write more, even if you don’t plan on publishing them.

Very Entertaining

I’m not a poetry reader/listener. I often find poetry boring. But I can appreciate Misha’s poems because I look up to him and I listen to them and found his voice comforting as well as his thoughts (because that’s what writing really is) interesting.

A sad look into the self and relationships

This book of poems was quite sad. I would feel guilty expressing why considering the author explores that delicately throughout the collection.
