Publisher's Summary

Cocky. No word better described Solomon.

He projected the playboy image, but only he knew the truth. Deep inside, he wanted what his brother and friends had - a mate.

Fifteen hundred years was a long time to be alone. Solomon’s pure vampire bloodline and family name made him desirable, but that didn’t take away the loneliness.

Lilah was fiercely independent and distrusting of paranormals out of necessity. Some treated her with contempt because of her half cheetah shifter/half fae heritage. They thought she was beneath them when she was actually superior.

Someone was determined to take Lilah’s life, but who was behind the attacks remained a mystery. Solomon fought off the first assault then became Lilah’s sole protector until he uncovered who wanted to harm her.

One wanted a mate, and the other didn’t. But fate didn’t ask for their opinion.

They could only fight what was meant to be for so long before the inevitable happened. If they managed to stay alive, maybe they would learn what it meant to be fated.

Solomon finally gets his story!!!

Michelle Dare is a fantastic writer! She has made me love Avynwood, and all of the shifters that are part of this series!!

Solomon has always been in his own, he spends a lot of time with his brother Ford and with the shifters if the Avynwood pack. This time... he gets his story.

Lila is part shifter, part Fae and is NOT looking for someone to answer to. She avoids touch because she doesn’t want a mate. When Sol comes into the bar she works at, he is drawn to her and comes on strong. He is smitten, and keeps coming back , wanting her to for out with him.

There’s an explosion at the bar late one night, and Lila and Sol are thrown together to find out who did it. This brings them closer and they learn more about each other.

The entire story is a wonderful listen. If you have listened to any of them, you may be like me and be anxiously to hear Sol’s tale. I recommend this highly. You want to hear it!

Troy Duran and Sarah L Colton are perfect for these characters!! Their voices and the way they treat these characters is so well done!!!

My favorite of the series!!!

I am LOVING this book! Soloman has been a favorite of mine since he showed up...well Ford was first but then Soloman was so prominent in his book that he became my new fav. He is an antagonist and cocky which make for the fun parts of the book. He also is very protective with anyone he loves or is family.

Soloman cracks me up! I really love his attitude and demeanor. Troy Duran does an amazing job becoming playful, sarcastic or sexy Soloman. I could listen to him all day!

I want to give a shout out to Michelle Dare. She did amazing with this story and these characters! Lilah is the perfect compliment to Soloman. I know I said this last book but this is my new fav of the series!

I did listen to this on audio. Troy Duran and Sarah L. Colton narrated. I can’t even! These two do an outstanding job with these characters. They do more than just read the book. They add so much more!

Fabulous Story & Audible Listen🎧 Sol💘Lilah!

I loved everything about this book, from Michelle Dare’s wonderful writing style to the story and characters she created to Tory Duran & Sarah L. Colton’s fantastic narration. Michelle Dare is a gifted author and I just love the imaginative world she created as well as all the different supernatural paranormal beings who live in that world and amongst each other. These include Vampires, FAE, different breeds of shifters and hybrids. I started this series with the 3rd book so I did miss familiarity with some of the recurring characters from the 1st two books, but that did not take away from my enjoyment of this book, it just made me want those books even more. This book swept me in right from the start. I liked Lilah, her story pulled at my heart, I pictured a 4 year old packing her stuffed animals. I admired her strength and got her reserve & reluctance to get close to anyone. Then comes Solomon, oh my what a character, I just adored him, his sense of humor and his cocky mind. He had his work cut out for him with Lilah. When her life is threatened Solomon goes in to protective mode and wants to keep her safe. They convince her she is better off staying with him. I loved how everything plays out in this book, there is never a dull moment, with plenty of drama, great humor, angst, action, twists, thrilling suspense and some hot romance. Michelle Dare, thank you for another great & entertaining story, loved that fun epilogue I am looking forward to going back to catch up on the 1st two books and the fascinating character in those books.

Troy Duran and Sarah L. Colton are fabulous narrators and voice artists. They continue to bring these characters to life giving each their own voice and personality. Their portrayal of the characters is spot on, they do them all justice and sound just as I picture them to. They are entertaining storytellers and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for another amazing listen🎧

Lilah's truths

This was more Lilah's surrender than Sol's. He gave into fate hands down when he met his mate with very little struggle. I'm in awe of teleportation and I loved its use in this story. I enjoyed the retribution scenes. It was only fair after all the destruction caused. The epilogue with the bed scene-hilarious ending. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this story and am giving an honest review. The narration was enjoyable.

Absolutely Loved It!!!!

First I want to start by saying that series is so enjoyable to listen to! I’m not a huge paranormal fan, but I LOVE this series! I love that you get vampires, fae, several different shifters and hybrids. Another thing I love, is that as each one gets their story, we get to hear about all of the previous characters.

So onto Solomon. If you have listened to any other books in this series, then you already know that Solomon is cocky and loves to antagonize his friends, and at the same time, he is very protective of them as well. We get to see another side of him now. A side that finds himself drawn to a girl. Not just any girl, she is half fae, half cheetah shifter. Listening to him try to figure her out was pretty hilarious.

Lilah has been on her own for most of her life. She doesn’t let anyone close for fear they will just one day be gone from her life. Who could blame her?? Hearing her story pulled at my heartstrings. This girl can take care of herself. Solomon has definitely met his match!

When Lilah’s life is threatened, Solomon makes it his life’s mission to keep her safe and find out who is behind it. Little does he know, he may have just found his mate!

Troy and Sarah do a wonderful job bringing this story to life!!

A really COCKY hero. Great narration

I totally adore these series! And I am yet to be disappointed by one of these books.
I really liked Solomon from the beginning, even though he is really cocky and can be so annoying at times, specially when he doesn't take things serious and is just being his silly self, but that was part o his charm. As for Lillah, she was great, strong and fierce, and even when she said she didn't wanted anyone deep down she really did, and Solomon was perfect for her, caring, understanding, and annoying LOL.

The narration was fabulous as always, I think one of the things that makes me enjoy these books is because the perfect narration of both Troy Duran and Sarah L. Colton.

I Missed Solomon!

I almost forgot how much I missed Solomon. I couldn’t wait for his book to arrive. I knew I would love it, but I was afraid it would be the end of the series, and I didn’t want that! Solomon is a fifteen hundred year vampire in a twenty-five-year-old body. He’s handsome, funny, and cocky; he does kind of have the right to be, he is a Verascue after all. While he has the playboy image, and it works for him, he really wants a mate, he just hasn’t found the one yet… until he goes into a bar and meets a woman his charm doesn’t work on like it does with other women! She’s sassy, spunky with a backbone! Enter Lilah! I think she is my spirit animal!

Although Solomon gives off the “devil may care” vibe, deep down, he really wants to find his mate, but the longer he goes without his mate, the more he believes he will never meet her. Lilah has a pretty complicated background. She’s half-fae and half-shifter (cheetah), and in most places, half breeds are frowned upon. One night at the bar, things get a little dicey. A bomb goes off, and the target is unknown, but what is clear, Lilah is in danger, and Solomon is there to protect her. Can they find out who is behind the attacks in time before Lilah becomes the next victim, or will the past finally catch up to them?

The mystery, the intrigue, the humorous pickup lines… this book did not disappoint me! I thought I was in love with Ford, but Solomon can break your heart. Lilah takes no mess from anyone. Her interactions with Solomon were great, but her interactions with his mother, Eloise, was even better! I forgot how much I missed Eloise! As usual, you get to catch up with some of your favorites, and it’s a good time all around. The narration was perfection! I wasn’t too surprised by the villain, and it completely makes sense even though it’s heartbreaking. This is one series I never want to end!

ohhhhh I love Sol! Excellent narration.

Troy Duran and Sarah L Colton did another great job with this story. It is so nice to know the characters as you hear them and also the returning characters sound the same. Makes listening so comfortable.

oooo I've been waiting for Solomon's story. I've loved him each time he has made an appearance in the other books. He really didn't disappoint! I thoroughly enjoyed watching him and how he worked through things and sorted stuff out. I enjoyed this so much I can't tell you!

Great story and narration.

One of my absolute favourite genres are Paranormal Romance so I was really looking forward to listening to Solomon's Surrender. With a well-developed plot that held my interest throughout and great characters that I wanted to know more about; this story delivered on all fronts.
In hindsight I wish I had listened to previous books in this series before I listened to this one. This does work as a standalone, but I also felt I was missing out.
The narration was pleasing to listen to and I felt that both Troy Duran, Sarah L. Colton delivered a sterling performance. I listen to several audiobooks a week and am picky with narration as it can make or break the story that they are telling. Troy and Sarah delivered on characterisation and have a talent for bringing this story to life.

Sol and Lilah!

Lilah has no interest in love or finding her mate as she witnessed first hand what happens when one mate loses another and she doesn’t want to have to endure that pain herself. She is part cheetah shifter and part fae who won’t back down from anyone or anything. She has found a home working at the bar that her bear shifter best friend Don owns, and she was content with her life until Sol entered the bar and her life and refuses to leave.

Sol is a vampire from a powerful family who would be happy to find his mate but until then he is content with playing the field. From the moment that Sol met Lilah he knew she was special even if she refused to let him touch her. When there is an attack on the bar Sol comes to her rescue and he has made it his mission to keep her safe until they discover the truth behind the attack.

I really enjoyed Sol and Lilah’s journey. She is feisty, fiery and destined to be his mate both in heart and attitude while Sol’s ego and confident personality knows exactly how to get a reaction out of her and everyone in their lives. Heat and humor combine with great secondary characters of family and friends. I received a complimentary copy of the audiobook and the choice of the narrators couldn’t have been more perfect for these characters. 🎧 Audiobook Obsession

Stand-Alone Paranormal Romance

Solomon’s Surrender by Michelle Dare is a paranormal romance that I listened to on audio narrated by Sarah L. Colton and Troy Duran.

This is the forth book in the Paranormals of Avynwood Series. The book can be read as a stand-alone but I find it helpful to read the series in order since they reference characters from previous books.

I absolutely love Michelle’s books! I cannot wait for the next book in the series Brayden’s Return to be released on audible so I can dive into Brayden and Kandra’s love story.

Sarah and Troy did an amazing job on the narration. They really know how to bring a story to life.

My Solomon

Solomon may seem like he's hard to deal with, but he's loyal to those he cares about. The only thing that doesn't seem to be a possibility for him is finding his mate. He's convinced he's meant to be the playboy he pretends to be until he meets Lilah. Lilah is dead set against finding her mate. She'd prefer to be alone over the possibility of anybody leaving her. To keep from finding her mate, she refuses to touch anybody. I've been waiting for this book! While it didn't fully meet my expectations, it was amazing. I loved it. I read it too quickly! That's okay. I plan to read all the books in this series over and over again! It's an amazing series. While it didn't have to be read in order at all, I'm glad I did anyway. I'm even looking forward to the next book as well. Solomon is one of my favorite characters in this series. He's just witty and charming. He's definitely on my book boyfriend list. He's like Eric from True Blood but not as brutal. I really liked Lilah too. She had a lot of pain, but she was willing to be up front and honest about everything. That's not something you see a lot in books. They usually just assume what the others are thinking or feeling about them. Troy Duran and Sarah L. Colton were as amazing narrating this book as they were the rest of the series. I absolutely adore their style. I will definitely look for other audiobooks that they narrate to see if it's bias from the series or if I genuinely like their style. I'm leaning more towards the style honestly. I fully recommend this series. It's been very fun to read and I'm looking forward to the fifth book. I believe it comes out in a couple weeks, but I can't be sure. Hopefully it won't be too long before there's an audiobook version of it. I've listened to the first four. I may as well complete the tradition.
