Didn’t Like

I could barely get through this program. Good thing it is only 30 minutes long! Dr. Fauci is so full of himself (cloaked in a humble veneer, but easy to see through), and most of the program was pointed at him and his personal achievements. Even Alan Alda was annoying me....😕. The only part that was at all interesting was the last part about some of the achievements that have been made in conquering the AIDS virus. NOT looking forward to the full length program coming out later in the year. Wouldn’t waste a credit, my money, or even if offered as a free monthly selection choice!

Dr Fauci is a rare personage. A true scientist who asks the questions needing answers, with such humility and incredible humanity. God bless him! Dr Fauci, THANK YOU for your service!

Alda & Fauci = a great combo

Can’t get much better or timely. Covers Fauci’s background from childhood. I highly commend this podcast.

This is a must read for EVERYONE!!!

A great insight into a person we see almost every day as part of the Whitehouse briefing team on the Covid 19 pandemic, but most of us know very little about...

I look forward to the Full Book

As an internist half a generation behind Dr. Fauci, I had known his story long before the current pandemic. He is everything a physician scientist should be. Rigorous, honest, intelligent, and driven by his need to help humanity. Listen and learn.

Thank you Dr. Fauci

In times of medical crises, we need to turn to medical professionals and the politicians who actually listen to them, not pseudoscience, wishful thinking and uneducated opinions.

Frontline health research!

It is important to realize the public benefits from these multidisciplinary cooperative human health research endeavors! Dr. Fauci epitomizes what can be accomplished in a research environment like the NIH. Alan Alda brings a broad human touch with his questions.

Interesting preview

This preview of the upcoming book sounded very interesting and I will keep my eyes open for its release. I never knew about doctors being 100% drafted during the Vietnam war. Learn something new every day.

Not very exciting unfortunately.

Lost interested part way through. Expected more technical depth. Otherwise to me it was fairly mundane

Dr Fauci, on the side of the angels

To my shame I didn’t recognise Dr Fauci’s name when he became to grownup in the White House as the true threat of Covid-19 was finally, if partially, in some quarters recognised in USA. I must have read some of his papers in the literature but hadn’t realised what an enormous part he’d played in identifying HIV & developing effective treatments. He is a clear communicator, dedicated to public service and groundbreaking research. Heaven forbid that his voice does not continue to be heard. It’s impossible that the touchy grandiose greedy Trump will like what Fauci has to say, and it’s probable Trump will sack him sometime soon, but the USA will suffer when that happens.
