Great Story but…

I really liked the story, it kept my interest and the only reason that I am not buying the next book in the series is because of the narrator. It was very distracting for every character to have an English accent when the book is set in the U.S.

Good start to a series

A good start to a series leaving me wanting to read the next book. I enjoy this author, good clean books with the background horror. I like the way she rounds out her characters as you go through series. Enjoyable read.

Good story

I liked this story. I really enjoyed Faith and Turk, they are a good pair/partners. The narrator was pretty good with the different characters. I will get the next book.

Pretty good series opener

I will probably read a few more of these in this series. If you're a fan of Blake Pierce you'll be used to his style of narration and his character building process. More of the "victim as avenger" type of female 'heroine.' I am amused by his character names too. Good story of a comeback from an agent who was thinking of leaving the FBI. Lukewarm romance between her and her partner.
