Outstanding mystery crime adventure!

lake Pierce is an excellent writer. He keeps you on your feet and keeps you from not wanting to miss one page of this undaunting mystery from start to finish! Enjoyable and I am pretty certain that you may reach the same conclusion! 5* = 💯

Great Story but…

I really liked the story, it kept my interest and the only reason that I am not buying the next book in the series is because of the narrator. It was very distracting for every character to have an English accent when the book is set in the U.S.

Pretty good series opener

I will probably read a few more of these in this series. If you're a fan of Blake Pierce you'll be used to his style of narration and his character building process. More of the "victim as avenger" type of female 'heroine.' I am amused by his character names too. Good story of a comeback from an agent who was thinking of leaving the FBI. Lukewarm romance between her and her partner.
