Publisher's summary

Graham Underwood worked as a government housing officer—until he was jailed for killing at least 15 people in a spree spanning several years. However, rather than showing remorse, this serial killer attempts to justify his actions and goes as far as to claim that he has done the world a public service in eliminating his victims....

A witty satire by by former prison psychiatrist Theodore Dalrymple, author of Life at the Bottom, Second Opinion, and If Symptoms Persist.

Well Done!

This book by Psychiatrist Dr. Anthony Daniel’s (aka Theodore Dalrymple), is amazingly thoughtful provoking and rich.
It is the fictional account of a public servant who becomes a prolific serial killer. It is a deep dive into his
justifications and his soul.
The killer is self-educated and quotes philosophy and great literature.
The killer’s conclusions, from his life experience, and his voracious studies have led him to prison where he continues to be what he has become.
It was a great read.

Witty, intelligent and often hilarious

This is a great little book that builds on Dr. Daniels's (T. Dalrymple) work as a psychiatrist, as described in his non-fiction work "Life at the Bottom." The author's insightful exploration further deepens our understanding of the human condition, offering profound insights into the complexities of society and the human psyche.
