Pretty good

This was a different type of street story for sure. It had it's ups and downs, but over all, I enjoyed it.

It was ok...i think it could of had more depth...and the way it ended was really disappointing

Good storyline. Didn’t care for the reader.

I was a bit disgusted with the men’s attraction to young girls. Yet I know it’s something that’s an ugly sickness that happens in society. I didn’t particularly like the reader. I started/stopped several times because of the reader. I finally got through it because I wanted to know if there was some sort of light for Khalid and Journey. The ending had me shocked though. There should be a part two for sure.

Not a bad book

This is not one of Ms. Bells better narrations. I had a hard time remembering who was speaking at times because she pretty much used the same voice. The story wasn’t horrible but the details of the main characters sexual abuse of his niece everyday wasn’t necessary. It was is too much of a focus. I hate hearing the detailed description and find myself skipping it. I have about two hours left but I’m struggling to get thru.

Horrible Ending !

please tell me part 2 is already out?? please don't let this book end like this??? The uncle should have been ashamed of himself. I was waiting for someone to kill him & the friends (especially Bunz).

This story didn't sugarcoat anything and told it like it would end. Well written and great story.

Very Sad

As a mother, the beginning of this story was almost unbearable, however I continued to listen. It turned out to be a very sad story, very real, but sad. 4 stars

Fantastic book good read ended on a cliffhanger...

Loved the book good smooth read but the ending was like a cliffhanger did they survive and who shot them both and why..

Waiting for the sequel

I’m am really hoping there is a part 2 coming!!
I don’t want to spoil anything...but I need to know if Journey makes it.

Brutal Coming of age story

This was very different from my normal reads, and very brutal. I find it disgusting when older men lust after children or groom them, yikes! but I felt for Journey. the ending was shocking but that just adds to the brutality.
