Publisher's summary

Three dragon shifters who want the same woman, only the object of their affections isn’t just any woman—I’m Snow White.

My name is Neva, or "Snow White", as patrons of the Wicked Lyre tavern know me.

There, I dance for the wealthy and lecherous.

Void of my memories, my life before the age of 12 is a mystery I don’t have time to solve, chained as I am to my cruel master.

Enter Herrick Vorst.

Herrick is the most handsome man I’ve ever seen.

He purchases a night with me but much to my own shock, doesn’t touch me. Instead, he asks me questions I can’t answer and reveals his belief that I’m capable of magic.

When I’m purchased by another stranger a few nights later, I learn this one wants my heart.

To carve out.

Narrowly escaping certain death, Herrick comes to my rescue and brings me back to his cottage.

There, I meet his brothers, Reve and Malvolo.

Reve is currently stuck in the land of dreams, courtesy of a curse.

And Malvolo is surly, rude and lets it be known he wants nothing to do with me or the killer who’s hunting me.

Well, he might want something to do with my body….

With no other options, I’m forced to put my trust and hope into these three sinfully sexy brothers who hide a secret of their own….

Searching for answers to my past, the four of us embark on a journey into the shadowy world of magic and monsters, wars and treachery, and lustful desire.

Interesting

A decent beginning to this series of standalone books. It wasn’t a bad book, the fmc wasn’t my usual taste in heroines…I prefer a kick butt chick this girl was not she was a tstl druggie(see trigger warnings) I will probably give the next book in the series a go,the steam was mild.(I was hoping it would have been hotter like the 5 kings series but in the book it was very mild) the guys were cool,Mal was unlike able at first. It was multiple pov…always a big plus for me. This is an interesting concept and I look forward to seeing where this story goes and how they are all connected.

Great Story & Narration🎧 Fascinating & Imaginative

H.P. Mallory puts her own dark and twisted spin on several classic fairy tales starting with “Snow White”, the first in her “Happily Never After” series and wow, what a start it is. The characters and storylines are are fascinating and imaginative, they grabbed my attention right from the start and captivated it straight to the end. Neva Valkoinen aka Snow is basically a slave and has been forced to work for a dirtbag who uses her as he pleases and pawns her to any man willing to pay. She wants out of her life so badly and when a handsome stranger offers her an out she is hesitant to take it, she has little faith and trust in men. But when a huntsman attempts to kill her she escapes and lands on the same person who wanted to help her, Herrick Vorst, who helps her get away from the hunter and brings her to his world. Herrick sensed the magic around Neva but she has no idea of who or what she is because a spell was cast that took away all her memories. Herrick has to find a way to for her to get her memories back, she is the key to saving the land of Fantasia. Neva meets Herrick’s brothers, first Malvolo, the grumpy brother who thinks she is nothing but trouble at first and then Reve, who she sees in her dreams. Malvolo finally comes around and Neva gets Reve back into their lives with the help of another. This is a great start to what is going to be an amazing series, the author laid down the foundation for what is to come, the world building and character growth is phenomenal. I love how she is bringing together all these characters from different fairytales and the worlds they are from, it is definitely intriguing and so is the different paranormal characters, shifters, witches, hellhounds and more. This wonderfully written and cleverly plotted story has plenty of drama, angst, action twists and turns, thrilling suspense, heartfelt emotions and steamy romance, reverse harem style. H.P. Mallory, thank you for this great story and wild ride.

🎧📚🎧 And for the great narration, H.P. Mallory cast the perfect narrator to bring her characters and story to life. Shiloh James was fabulous at covering the roles for both the male and female characters giving each their own distinct voice, making it easy to follow along and tell who was who. She had a complete understanding of the characters she portrayed and was believable in every role she played. She set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and projected them in to her performance making you feel every single one. Ms. James is an entertaining storyteller and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this fantastic listen.

Interesting twist

This book was very entertaining. It is an interesting twist on old fairytales. I have already downloaded the next in the series, and I look forward to continuing the intertwine reinterpretations
