Story
Amber wakes up in a hospital. She can't move. She can't speak. She can't open her eyes. She can hear everyone around her, but they have no idea. Amber doesn't remember what happened, but she has a suspicion her husband had something to do with it. Alternating between her paralyzed present, the week before her accident, and a series of childhood diaries from 20 years ago, this brilliant psychological thriller asks: Is something really a lie if you believe it's the truth?

I only listened to the first 15 minutes or so
I did not get far into the book before realizing that 2 of the main characters were in a homosexual relationship. Although this country has been effective in pushing this down our throats calling it hate speech if we do not welcome it with open arms, I am a Christian and it is Gods word that this behavior is a abomination, I really don't care what your sexual preferences are as that is between you and God. But when purchasing a book there is always a list of things for example this book might not be appropriate for younger readers, I think before we spend our money on books that we should be told that there is homosexual content. I know that our country has fallen into a place I no longer recognize the bible says in the last days what is right will become wrong and what is wrong will become right, we still have freedom of speech in this country and I condemn no one for there sexual preferences, all I ask is that it is put in the info about who this book might not be right for.

Interesting read
What did you like most about Snatched?
The story was very well put together.
What did you like best about this story?
I enjoyed that it wasn't just about a copper trying to solve the case. It involved the teacher just as much.
Have you listened to any of Catherine O'Brien’s other performances? How does this one compare?
This is the first audio i have listened to narrated by Catherine.
Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?
I listened over a 12 hour period with stopping occasionally. easy to listen to in one sitting time allowing.
Any additional comments?
Well having recently enjoyed a few other Audio books, I was thrilled when Stephen allowed me copy of this to review.
I listened to this over one night shift at work. working nights can be long, and quiet, so this really kept me going.
And it wasn't just he audio aspect of this book I enjoyed, the story line was really quite good.
We start off this story with 7 year old Natalie, not being picked up from school in time, and then goes missing. This has got to be every parents worst nightmare.
One of the last people to see her, was her teacher Sarah Jenson. This teacher really got involved with the missing girl case, occasionally blaming anyone she could think of that might have been any where near or have reason to take Natalie, one of her favourite pupils. It certainly seemed at times that Sarah seemed to do a lot more than the police, the case is headed by Detective Inspector Vincent, pronounced Vin-Sent (which did annoy me to start with.. lol) But I think between himself and Sarah they rounded off the story pretty well.
I'm always worried about giving to much away when doing a review, I think the book description gives enough of an idea what is going on without me giving any more away.
But put the subject of this book to one side, it was a very interesting Listen/read.
