Publisher's Summary

At the height of power, one ruthless misstep crumbles Snake’s kingdom in an instant. Beaten within inches of his life, betrayed by his own club, and left for dead, he has nothing remaining to focus on but healing and revenge.

Physical therapist Amanda thinks she’s seen it all. Then, she meets Nick, a broken man who has sustained the most severe beating she’s ever encountered. Surly, brooding, and angry, he should be a nightmare patient. But under the rough exterior lies a man determined to overcome his devastating injuries, a quality Amanda can’t help but be drawn to. Plus, he’s ridiculously attractive, to the point she finds she can’t stay away.

Women like Amanda - kind, sweet, intelligent, independent, respectable - don’t exist in Snake’s world. When she offers him a place to live after his hospital stay, he can’t turn her down. The more time they spend together, the more torn he becomes between two realities: a gruesome MC world full of lies, betrayal, and hatred, or a life with Amanda that promises healing and peace.

As Snake helps Amanda through some troubling times, passion flares. For once, he actually cares about a woman, and it’s enough to make him question everything. After leading a life as a dedicated outlaw, is it too late to change? And if not, is he willing to leave his vendetta behind?

This audiobook is recommended for 18+ due to graphic sexual content and explicit language.

A BOOK SET IN IDAHO!! YAS!

ok I'm from Idaho and I have never listened to a book set in Idaho so I was excited about that Haha
I still dont know how I feel about Snake. After what he did to Emily idk, in book fantasy I guess a guy could change, but in real life? nope.
That being said I still loved the book and just took it all with a grain of salt.
Idk about all of you but I was hoping to get a story about Gumby!!
but as with everything else, Lilly Atlas makes it work and makes me love it all!

Snake sexy

All i can say snitches get stiches. And ,I agree a female should stay loyal to her guy. as long as he never abuse her sexual are physically. As well as never hurts innocents, elderly or children.
Sad part that he got betrayed by his MC . But like that he was amazing truely sorry but still amazing. The only bad thing about this book is it really doesn't work with the series. redemptions yes but disappointed with the ending.
I can see why snake decided to do what he did.

SPOILER SIDE SIDE NOTE
YOU HAVE JESTER IN ACERS OR LUCKY BOOK HAVING A LITTLE BOY AND NOW IN THIS BOOK HIS SON I S NOW A DAUGHTER.

Wow... just WOW!

I had low expectations for this book because I didn’t think it would be possible to make me like a character that Lilly made me hate from the first book in the series but nope 2 chapters in and I was eating out of Snakes hand.Snake brought closure to the whole series and was well worth the listen. #audiobookobessionsreviewer

Snake, really?

I wondered what this book would contain, a story about Snake; why? Well, the author had a lot to say about Snake and it turned out to be a very enjoyable book, it also had a lot of suspenseful scenes and twists and turns.

Redemption!

If you've read the previous books in this series, you wouldn't think that Snake would be redeemable, yet she did it in a believable way. No amnesia, no brain damage, just a man who found the good in himself, mostly thanks to a good woman.

Excellant duet narration as usual!

good ending to the series

I enjoyed Snake/Nick's journey and redemption. and Amanda was a great pairing for him. I'm glad the demise of the Grimm Brothers MC was well thought out and explained and was happy for a peak at some of my fav characters like Jester, Lilly, Striker and Emily. overall good conclusion to a well liked series.

I am blown away. I didn't think there was ever any way I would come to care for Snake or he could find redemption but Lilly Atlas proved me wrong. OUTSTANDING!!!

Redeeming

I only read/listened to this and Striker’s in this series. The other plots didn’t entice me. Strikers was great and usually the rest of the series never tops the 1st book (generally speaking), but I loved this story so much more!

Overall ok but female narrator was bad

I liked the overall store. And the idea of redemption from one of the series' previous big bads was an awesome idea. But the female narrator destroyed the story for me. Every time a scene with her came up I was dying for the male narrator to come back. The performance she gave was not only off-putting but entirely cringey and clipped. The story wasn't bad but needs a different narrator for the female pov.

A great finish to a wonderful series

Wow, Lilly Atlas has really done a wonderful job of completing this series with Snakes story. From been a bad man to becoming a man loved changed everything for Nick. Hes at peace where he now lives. but with his womens friend threatening to expose him and a sudden meet with a member he has to go back.
I loved this to pieces. I do hope there's more coming from this author
