I like the story but...

I like this story but I am getting annoyed with the narration. I don't mind the female narrator but the male narrator, OMG, it's getting on my nerves so much that I'm having a difficult time trying to listen to this. He makes the male characters sound like they're all 60 year old chain smokers and the female voices sound like they're all southern white trailer trash chicks. It makes the female leads sound like they're whining with a southern accent. I wish they would have just let the female narrator do the whole audiobook or get a more suitable male narrator.

Not your typical MC romance

Too much attention given to inconsequential scenes and not enough to issues that could have been expanded and enhanced the story.

Just can't finish

Let me start by saying I love this series. I was really looking forward to the audio.
I can't finish it. The narration hurts my ears. The fake southern accent. Ugh.
When the male narrator ia speaking in normal voice, it's great. When he tries to use a different one, it's horrible.
The woman is just bad.
Read the book. Dont spend credit or money

Good book bad narration

Read this book; don’t listen to this book. The male narrator sounds like a Forest Gump reject when he tries to do a Southern accent. I wish he he would’ve just read the book naturally and not used the accent. I had to stop listening and switch to just reading by Chapter 2.

Meh

I hated the narration. It was the different voices for the characters…annoying. If they’d just read it normally it’d have been sooooooo much better.
