When Lillie Tillman went out that morning, she never expected to find herself in the middle of another murder investigation. She discovers a dead body near the Seafood Shack in Quinby Haven. Regardless of all that, Ann, Grace, Roni and Rachel made a promise to their friend and intend to keep it. But as the number of suspects and unanswered questions stack up, can they find the missing pieces of the puzzle? Can they find the cold-blooded killer before they put themselves in peril? And most importantly, will they be able to dodge their local police chief who has an uncanny knack for knowing when they’re sleuthing? If not, they could all end up in jail. This is a cozy mystery with five female amateur sleuths in a small-town setting. It’s a clean read with no strong profanity, sex, gore or graphic scenes of violence.
