Th classic "what would you do" scenario and a favorite of mine. Ira Levin is so clever with unique circumstances and storylines.

Creepy and thoughtful

Brilliant writing. Good characters. I wish Audible had more of Levin's books. He is the best from his era.

Fantastic

I love Ira Levin. His female main characters are always awesome, and I especially enjoyed this strong main character. The psychological aspect is chilling. Loved it.

Soft-core nonsense?

It was just entertaining and short enough for me to not give up on it. Choppy writing style. Cheesy dialogue. Somewhat interesting story with lackluster execution. The narrator did the best she could with the source material.

Average story from stellar author

I had high hopes based on prior works I've read of his, but this was just meh. The concept didn't really grip me, and it felt rushed overall. It's not awful, but I wouldn't go out of my way to read it again.
