Fun Read!

I enjoyed reading this reverse harem retelling and certainly got caught up in the love triangle between the main character and her lovers! I recommend it for those who enjoy reverse harem stories and the supernatural!

Overall, I enjoyed the story.

Overall, I enjoyed the story. I started and finished listening to it in one day. It has a lot of potential and I'll definitely be checking out the next book in the series.

That being said, I found myself rolling my eyes at some parts and wanting to shake some sense into the MC.

The narrator did a great job considering the number of male voices she had to come up with. I was never confused over who was speaking.

If you enjoy paranormal RH and are looking for an easy audiobook to listen to, check it out.

Interesting book

I’m not sure how I felt about the book. I like the storyline but I feel as if so many things are missing. I don’t feel any type of Chemistry between her and the guys and I don’t see anything special about her besides being lustful for the men. She’s a virgin but doesn’t act like it. I don’t want to give away too much so I will leave it there. Interesting to see how it plays on the next book. Hopefully I get to see more interaction with her and the men besides lust. Lexi Evans did an amazing job at narrating

Unexpected and good start to series

This book is definitely a building block for the story. We are introduced to Rose who is a very confident woman who seems to be in total control of her life and a little bit of a badass. There are little signs that there is something special about her but nothing that gives it away. Towards the end we finally learn what she is. The men in the book were also being introduced throughout. I actually really enjoy the tiffs between the men and that they all hate each other. They are each different kinds of creatures too (not human). Two seem to be semi-normal and two are total jerks. The tension does not ease at all by the end of this story. I have no idea how they will come together but look forward to seeing it play out!


The only part I was disappointed about was that despite Rose's job, lifestyle, and being abnormally gorgeous, she was a virgin. There isn't any mention of it until its gone and it seems like it was a detail added trying to ease the moral choice of being a stripper for a career but it just didn't fit well to her background for me. I also hated who she did it with and how it happened!


Other than the names used, I couldn't find any connection to any fairy tale so far. This intrigues me and I loved it because it exceeded my expectation. I cant even begin to imagine or predict where book 2 will go. The narrator was pretty good too. I definitely recommend this for RH fans.
