Great Read

Slade (Venom #2) was another good read by Kristen Middleton. Chelsey finds herself on the run from Faye and the Night Roamers. She is on the run with Slade but isn't sure if she can really trust him. I enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read more by the author.

What did you like best about this story?

Slade is a great follow up book for the first one.The story got my attention from the beginning all the way to the end. This is one of those stories you will want to listen to all in one sitting.

A sexy, hot, gentleman and a Vampire! I think I like everything about him, even his dark sides!

Who was your favorite character and why?

I really like Liam, he is funny, and acts like a crazy child. I like Chelsey and Melody too but we shall see....

Which character – as performed by Meghan Kelly – was your favorite?

Meghan Kelly is awesome, she managed to perform the different characters and accents excellent! I liked all the characters even 'Talia - Vanessa', as performed by Meghan!
More Slade please please please!!!!

Book just comes to abrupt halt without logical end

I really did enjoy this book, as much as Venom! However, I wish that something had come to a conclusion instead of having to wait for part 3. This book didn't just end on a cliff hangar. It is more like it just came to the end of a chapter and said "No more for this book." I really hate that. It just stops in the middle of the story without rhyme or reason.

I will eventually get the third part, but I doubt I will listen to any more series by this author. I don't like trilogies like this.

Wow, Time Certainly Flys When You Are Having Fun!!

PNR is my favorite genre and I love them from mild to smokin` hot. However, after listening to this story, I am basing my review on this story being more on the YA end of PNR.

Slade picks up where Venom leaves off and this story grabbed my attention from the beginning and kept me engaged all the way to the end. This is one of those stories you will want to listen to all in one sitting. I know did!:-)

The plot was decent, and the characters were great. I loved the different personalities and the banter between the characters had me laughing out loud.

The story ends on a cliffhanger which I don't mind because I've already decided to get the next book in the series called Toxic. However, I hope there will be other books after Toxic, I would love to hear stories about the other band members.

Meghan Kelly did an awesome job of narrating and brought the characters to life by giving them their personalities and accents.
