The traveling during times of unrest.
I’ve purchased this book in hard copy, I traveled at the end of December and left the book on the seat of the airplane when I arrived to my destination. I was so taken by the protagonist determination, and valor wanted to know the end of the story that i went ahead and purchased it again on audible.
Love the story, the times when it took place.

Luego de haber escuchado El Tiempo entre Costuras me aventuré a escuchar Sira. La narración es muy buena. Sentía que estaba dentro del libro.

Esperado reencuentro
Quise disfrutar este libro tan pronto me enteré de que María Dueñas nos regalaría un reencuentro con la entrañable Sira. Tremendo reto para la autora luego del éxito tan grande que fue El tiempo entre costuras.
La lectura me resultó muy amena e interesante. Todo está muy bien documentado y el estilo de narración de la autora logra nuevamente dejarnos atrapados con cada uno de sus personajes, situaciones y su extraordinaria manera de narrar. El libro ayuda a conocer mucho más de la situación de Palestina, Londres, Madrid y Marruecos en la post guerra, desde una mirada muy íntima y cotidiana.

The continuation of a beautiful and engaging story
I binge watched the first novel and was thrilled to find the sequel in Spanish. Sira is a survivor and a fighter who continues to reinvent herself and use her beauty, brains and intuition to gain entry into worlds previously closed to her. I hope to see the novel turned into film to rival that of the author’s first one.
