Publisher's summary

Sofia

Fifteen years ago, I saved my grandson from the devil. That day, our family lost everything.

But I'm back. Dangerous. Unhinged. Vengeful.

Consumed by the mob life. By my late husband, by my ambition. This obsession may destroy me.

Luca

I survived. My mother was the Donna of New York, my father before that wanted out; I made it my mission to find the truth.

Tony

My father and grandfather taught my mother the Omerta. I’ve come a long way and now I desire the life behind the gun.

The streets of New York can only be ruled by us as one; it's time for the rest for us to end the anarchy once and for all!

Who will come out on top?

Sophia, Luca, Tony…. All three want what once belonged to the families, what was lost, what was taken, and the truths that lay in the past. This is the fourth book in the series and like its predecessors there is no lack of action, violence, blood, gunfire, twists, turns and treachery. Fantastic narration keeps the story moving at a brisk pace and excellent character development keeps the story clear and uncluttered. The heat level on this one is a bit higher and a bit more risqué than with the previous three books, but given what is going on with the characters in question, that too fits. As with the previous books, the ending took me completely by surprise. This is a solid listen and I really enjoyed it!
