Publisher's summary

New York’s two Godfathers - dead. A grieving daughter - eyes set on taking over.

New York’s Mafia families are in a state of near-anarchy. Petty gangs are attempting to solidify their grip on the city’s criminal enterprises.

Jessica, the pride of her father, Don Lombardi, has returned from Italy after the bloodshed and hasn’t forgotten the Omerta. New to holding the reins of power, Jessica finds that the gangs, old-time mobsters, and the NYPD are equally relentless.

Aligning herself with her mother-in-law, Sofia Giuliani, Jessica is moving at breakneck speeds to pull everyone together before the families fracture completely.

Will she be the New York underworld’s overlord...or ruin?

Action packed thriller!

In book three of this action packed series the reins are held by the Don’s daughter. It falls to Jessica to salvage the legacy of her son, heir to both the Lombardi and Giuliani Families. The action is non-stop from the opening moments to the heart pounding conclusion. In between there are bullets flying, twists, turns, betrayal, surprises and shockers that I could not have predicted with a crystal ball. This one kept me guessing right up to the end. But once it ended, it all made sense. I am loving this series!

A continuation from Sins of the Son

These books must be read in order. Sins of the Daughter takes over where Sins of the Son left off. The tragic ending of Sins of the Son brings rise to Jessica and her rule of the mafia. Jessica has different plans for both families and tries to hold them together before New York falls completely to the gangs. I liked seeing a girl as 5he head of the mafia. It was a great twist. Jessica has a will that could only come from. the head of the mafia's father. I enjoyed watching tough men follow her lead. Jessica stopped at nothing to uphold her father's wishes. Another Suspenseful story.

Manuela Farina had a wonderful Italian accent to continue that realism to the stories. Ms.Farina was not as heavy in her accent, so she was much easier to follow from the beginning. Ms. Farina narrated Jessica exactly as I think she was to be; strong, determined, yet in mourning.s. Farina brought Jessica to life.

Fast moving .

I was supplied with this audiobook at no cost & in return I offer my opinion & review of Sins of the Daughter (Book 2). I Thoroughly enjoyed this audiobook , it was fast moving , lots of action , maybe a few less bodies but I suppose they fit the story . The narration was excellent & the accent added to the story . I never read/listened book one (Sins of the Son) but I enjoyed this book so much I now have just purchased book 1 .

Sins of the Daughter

Sins of the Daughter is an action-packed book. One of the best things that I liked about the story is that it continued the saga of a forbidden love affair. Another best thing is that this sequel is just as exciting and gripping as Book 1.

A great story, perfectly paired with amazing narration, equals a highly recommended book.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for an hones review.

Very well done

Second books in a series are always a gamble but this was a great continuation. The characters were very well done and the story was great. The narrator did a great job of bringing the whole world to life. I would definitely recommend this series because it is well worth the credit. I was given a free copy of this audio in return for an unbiased review.
