This is a well written, comprehensive guide for all those overlooked and forgotten single dads out there. No stone is left unturned…grief, finances, stages of development, time-management, etc. I feel more in control and empowered having read it.

A Valuable Resource!

My younger brother is a newly divorced single dad, so I listened to this book hoping to help guide him through all the challenges he now faces. This book discusses time management, finances, and scheduling tips, and it also touches on the importance of taking care of yourself so you can be the best dad possible. This includes how to re-enter the dating scene, incorporate fun and relaxation with your kids, and deal with your kids' grief. I will be purchasing this book for my brother on Amazon! Being a parent can be challenging, but being a single dad is certainly tougher. This book will help to go from ''surviving'' to ''thriving'' being a single dad. The author focused on the emotions of the kids to have a better relationship with them. I love that the author spends part of the book on tips on how to take care of ourselves. A must have for any single father

Alfie Thomas does a great job in his survival guide for single fathers raising kids. Obviously, this is a very difficult topic, because there are so many aspects of raising kids as a single father. Thomas covers it all. From finances, time management, disciplining your kids, and introducing them to a new mother. The author is extremely thorough and gives advice and solutions to the many trials that will come up. He even covers special circumstances such as being a dad with a son only, a daughter only, and even a child with special needs. I think he also does a good job of pointing out that as a single father, we will need help from people and gives great advice on how to ask for this and who to ask from. I highly recommend this for all dad’s, single or not, as they are raising kids.

I gave met a lot of single mothers and fathers and got this audiobook out of curiosity. I love how it addresses both mom and dads who are by themselves. This text had a lot of great advice!

Perfect guide for single dads

I recently listened to the audiobook "Single Dad Parenting Like a Pro: A Survival Guide for Single Fathers with Kids" and I have to say, it was amazing! First of all, the narrator Helpful Matthew was fantastic, his voice was engaging and made the book a pleasure to listen to.

But what I really loved about this book was the focus on mindset. My friend, who recently became a single dad, often talks about how easy it can be to get bogged down in the challenges and difficulties of parenting alone, but this book helped learn some new techniques to help my friend shift his perspective and focus on the positive aspects of his situation.

The worksheets provided in the book were also incredibly helpful for him as well. They helped him get organized and feel more in control during a difficult time.

I also appreciated the inclusion of quotes from other dads, it help me understand more of what my friend is going through in a different way than how he explains things. And the running storyline of Darnell, the author's brother who had lost his wife to COVID, was incredibly moving and inspiring.

I had never heard of "Leveler-mode" before, but it was an interesting perspective for divorced dads. And the time management and home management strategies presented in the book are not only great for single dads, but for anyone looking to get more organized and efficient in their daily life.

Overall, I would highly recommend this book to any single dad out there looking for guidance and inspiration.
