An Essence best-selling author, Victor McGlothin is praised for his African-American inspirational fiction. Sinful is a dramatic tale of love, greed, and redemption. As Chandelle and Marvin Hutchins deal with growing financial and emotional pressures in their marriage, Cousin Dior comes to visit. Beautiful but irresponsible, Dior loves excitement and will use anyone - even Chandelle and Marvin - to get it.©2007 Victor McGlothin (P)2007 Recorded Books, LLC Romance

Loved this story...was really real with so much truthfulness and a great story that kept me listening till the end because I had to find out what happen next. Each character was well developed and revealed. You can tell the author is a christian but I like that he wasn't preachy and still shared GOD's message of love, grace and mercy. The narration was wonderful.

Would you consider the audio edition of Sinful to be better than the print version?

I don't know... I did not read the print.

What other book might you compare Sinful to and why?

There is actually nothing I could compare this book to. The main character is in a class of her own. It's like her life's mission is to try to destroy someone else's life in order for her's to be better.

Which character – as performed by Shari Peele – was your favorite?

The real estate agent... This lady kept her cool when most people would not have. She was classy and even when she could have showed out, she didn't. She was very respectful.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

When Shundale destroyed the journal.

Any additional comments?

The speaker did a great job in reading this story. The characters came alive for me. I would recommend anyone who listens to this audio to pick up Sinful Too... It will floor you.
