The highly charged, tense and emotional second novel in the Pure Corruption series from New York Times and USA Today best-selling author Pepper Winters. It's a wild ride.
'Some say the past is in the past. That vengeance will hurt both innocent and guilty. I never believed those lies.'
Cleo came from a past Arthur 'Kill' Killian never forgot. She made him sin and made him suffer. She tugged him from the shadows and showed him he wasn't as dead as he thought. And with her resurrection came betrayal, deceit, and war. But then they took her. Imprisoned her.
Now Kill's carefully laid plans for vengeance are complete. He craves action, retribution - the blood of his enemies. War has begun. War is all they'll know until they've paid their penance.
Sin & Suffer continues the intensely romantic love story that began with Ruin & Rule, the first book in the best-selling, much-loved Pure Corruption series. It will keep you on the edge of your seat.

well i struggled through it. and i do believe i ended up not liking kill as much as the first book. all these bloody secrets between him and Cleo was stupid. his injury was
way to important for him to react like he did.
the plot was as big as Ben hur and still not really buyable, even in a fiction book. but concept was awesome!!!!
kill seems to have the age old adage....more brains than common sense... it's the only thing that explains his secret keeping, not realising the importance of his mind in the scheme of things, underestimating Cleo, and basically doing away with trust.
Cleo needed to be fiesty like she claims to be and love him or leave him and his secrets in the dust. hmmmmmmixed emotions on these 2 as well as the humouungous plot .....still I can dream,
sorry pepper, needed 2 narrator's..and I'm not a fan. sorry😕😕😕🙁
