Publisher's Summary

For Subject B, death is only one scream away...

As war veteran Marcus Holt and the others struggle to escape Worthe’s haunted village, they find themselves stalked by a new enemy.

A paranoid psychotic, this demented soul hears voices in her head and is convinced that people are talking about her. Armed with her hatchet, she is determined to murder everyone in the village to silence them all.

No matter how far they run, this maniacal spirit is always one step behind them, listening for the slightest sound. But this deadly specter isn’t the only foe they must face. The sadistic Professor Worthe has set his eyes on one of the subjects, with orders to eliminate anyone who gets in the way.

Marcus must find a way to save him at all costs. But he is exhausted and battered, having fought against the worst nightmares imaginable and suffering grievous injuries in every battle.

Death is coming for Subject B and his friends. And this time, he may be powerless to stop it...

Can’t get enough!

This is a great book, like the ones before. I’m sad because I’m done with the second to the last book, but yet, I can’t wait to read the next, the last.

Wow... this series is so crazy

The premise for this book is just incredible. Thom Bowers was a great narrator. You will grow to love the characters... root for them, fear for them, and grieve for those lost souls. Its a great book!

Non stop!!

I didn't think I'd be surprised again, yet here I am!! Wow is all I can say. I think I need time to fully wrap my head round everything that happened in the book! It was amazing. One new house was put into the village but we don't see much of it, instead we meet a long term resident of the village, a teen who likes to wield an axe! She is vicious and brutal and wants to kill Marcus, Alex and Timmy. Meanwhile Worthe is losing it, David is also losing it, Joyce calls in the aid of 2 familiar people whom I was giddy to see!! There are more troupes called in to guard the village but we also see more ghosts!! So ya, the plot and sub plots are getting tenser and tenser and I'm eager to see where it goes!! I'm not going to say anything else about it because I'll spoil it but I will say that this series is amazing and one I highly recommend. Thom Bowers has become one of my favourite narrator's because he never fails to perform brilliantly. I was given this audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. This in no way affected nor influenced my thoughts

Ron Ripley does it again!

I very much enjoyed this book. The whole series is great but the character development and over all storyline continues to keep me enthralled. Without any blatant spoilers... In this book we get to see a character really get to use their powers of persuasion amongst the dead. We find out the fate of a subject who managed to escape, and we delve deeper into the insanity of Worthe. I can’t wait to see what happens next! Gotta love Thom Bowers’ narration as well!

Great Series

I absolutely love this series especially the characters and ghosts with good narration. My favorite characters are Marcus, Alex, Timmy, Joyce, Philip and Elaine and now Victor and Tom have been brought in after Joyce seeks help. Hate Abel Worthe, Kimberley and David (he got a little of what he deserved. But be aware ending a real cliffhanger leaving you impatiently waiting for next book (Deranged Souls) on audible. Highly recommend this series but need to start with previous books in series Worthe’s Village.
