When our barbed words and competitive needling explode into something hotter than it has any right being, my job and reputation are on the line. I can't stand the thought of being seen as irresponsible or less than the best, but I can't stop myself when it comes to him.

So we just have to keep it a secret.

LOVED!

This series is absolutely amazing. Love the realistic hot solutions to the monster d!ck 😂. But for real the banter and chemistry between the characters was amazing and the author also threw in some really heartfelt moments.

Big shout out to the narrators. They did an amazing job bring the characters to life with their voices and acting. Would definitely recommend this one. 5/5!!

Lily Mayne writes the most human of monsters

I didn’t think I would like this as much as Berries & Greed but it’s just as fun. I immediately fell in love with Anita & Nuni. Their inner voices (especially Nuni’s) are laugh-out-loud funny and so completely relatable. Nuni deals with normal, average insecurity and fear but in a way that only Lily can write. He’s sooooo sweet. After Berries & Greed I was thinking this would be a hate-to-love situation but omg I just plain love him. Both Deep Earth Dating books have made cackle out loud in public, tear up at home alone, and drain the battery of my AirPods over & over. Rebecca Woods and Michael Lesley are made for these roles. I love Rebecca’s Anita and Michael’s demiurges goofball. I can’t recommend this enough! Oh did I mention this book is much smuttier than the first? Hurrah!!!!!

As fantastic as the first book

I love this series. I read both books and these audio versions were an instant but for me. This story sticks with the same family, just this time it is the oldest brother's romance with a human.

I think the balance between character POVs is a bit better with this book which tends to make it my favorite. Plus, I like that they are so competitive.

As always, these stories are great at expanding the idea of what qualifies as sex and how intimacy can evolve. Regardless of these books being in the Paranormal/Sci-Fi realm, they are very much contemporary romances at the core.

My only miniscule critique is of Nuni's voice. I was expecting a much more masculine gym bro voice so for the first few Nuni chapters I was just thrown off. I ended up getting used to it and actually found that it was more fitting in the end. Overall all the narration was excellent and I'm glad the same narrators were kept from the first book.

Redemption arc for Nuni

It was nice to see Nuni in a new light given his attitude in Book 1 - Anita was good for him and vice versa. This has the same sweet feel as Book 1 with no third act break up-which I always find challenging. I still liked Gried and Beryl’s story more but this was still really good and nice to see the brothers come together and find their respective loves.

Lily is a master of sexy romance

Another amazing book from LM. Such a lighthearted and fun romcom. Steamy sex scenes and witty banter are her specialty. Enjoyable all the way through.

Jokes aside, a decent romance novel with good narration.

So cute

I liked this one so much. Berries and Greed was great but i liked this 2nd book.

Such a gem

I was a little worried going into this book because I fell in love with book 1. But I was pleasantly surprised and couldn’t put it down! Can’t wait for book 3
