Publisher's Summary

One special lady will help this cowboy lawman win his father's ranch - and steal his heart in the bargain....

Kade McKettrick's got five mail-order brides-to-be camped out at the local hotel, all more than eager to provide him with the heir that will win him the Triple M ranch. But Kade, the newly appointed marshal, has his hands full with a troublesome outlaw gang. Why, then, is he so easily distracted by pretty "Sister Mandy" - who most assuredly is not the nun she claims to be?

On the run from her outlaw stepfather, Mandy Sperrin hides beneath her solemn disguise and vows to keep her wild, passionate nature from the respectable citizens of Indian Rock. Yet when the handsome marshal makes it clear that he wants her, Mandy gives in to her heated desires....

Despite the secrets that may lure them both perilously close to danger, Kade knows that proposing marriage may be the only way to keep this spirited woman by his side. But are her ties to a shadowed past more threatening - and closer - than Kade knows? His strong, sensual embrace may charm Mandy's wild heart - but will she surrender to a lifetime of his deep and powerful love?

Great read don’t miss !

Absolutely loved this one as well as the first series. About to read the story of Jeb now and can’t wait to see what happens in the next series.
Don’t pass this up ! A wonderful and funny story. The narration by Jack Garrett made it even better.

Again Linda Lael Miller gave another great story so don’t miss out on this and the other series of these brothers.

It was okay.

Thus book was okay. I personally couldn't stand how "strong" the female character was 1 second and then in another she was a whiny little baby. It's one thing to be brave 1 second then when it is over fall apart that is fine. But this female character just wasn't brave or anything. I got tired of listening to her whining and then listening to the way her love abused her and she's all mad then super sad and he is still acting like an a**. It's one thing to be stubborn but it was just dumb on both parts. I usually like her books but just my opinion was I could hardly stand it and could not wait to finish the book so I could stop reading it all. the performance by the speaker was excellent but overall it was not a good or interesting read.
