The Best!!!

I am so thankful I found Linda Lael Miller and this series! Wow. A long story but I loved it... The narrator spoke slower than I would like so I sped it to 1.2 and it was perfect! Her different characters voices were so good and she told the story perfectly! I cannot wait to hear more of this series! This one had me wanting to speed it up to make sure everything turned out well, although I knew it would in the end!!

I love Linda Lael Miller's historical western novels. I gobble them up as quickly as Audible makes them available. At last count, I think I owned nearly 40 titles by this author. This one though, is hands down, my favorite of them all.

The suspense of this story gripped me to the end,

I think I have found my new favorite author, I just loved this story so true to that time period and was reminded of the plight of women in those days. It was a mystery to the end how it would all turn out,

Lots of actual talking interaction.

I enjoyed the fact that the characters actually talked to one another. A lot of other stories don’t. And it was a good story! I give it a five! Looking to see what other books will be recommended now,

Bad language and unsuitable for Christians

The story was great and the narrator was awesome but the nasty language and love scenes didn’t make for a better story as a matter of fact would have been better without them. Because I am a Christian with strong biblical teaching I will not listen to anymore of this authors books.
