Horrific Tales of absolute horror.

This collection contains tales of Horror that will make you cringe and want to sleep with the lights on. The tales are graphic and very descriptive. The stories are fast paced and extremely well written. If you love horror remember this name P.J. Blakey-Novis his work will rival some of the greatest horror novelist out there. I received this review audio book upon my request. I am voluntarily leaving an honest review because I really enjoyed reading books that are spinetingling.

Really Creepy

I really enjoyed this series of short stories. One in particular really creeped me out more than the others but they were all really really good. The narration was fantastic! If you like creepy/horror stories, I highly recommend this book. Sisters Spotlight 💜

A better option then buying them individually

I wrote reviews on P.J.'s individual compilations and loved them all. Each anthology is roughly 2 hours long, so seeing this is all 3, thus 6 hours long. I wish I would have gotten this first but just so you know, I've loved these individual spooky scary stories from the beginning. They run the gambit from PNR to Revenge to Ghost stories to true Horror, all in bite size nuggets of deliciousness. Don't think twice, just one-click this author.

A few standout stories

*Disclaimer - author provided copy for an honest review. The first couple of stories weren’t very impressive, but they got better. Of course it’s not often you’ll love every story in an anthology or collection. It was a mixed bag of stories, some which I wouldn’t even consider as horror, but there were a handful of stories I really enjoyed. The standouts for me were ‘Opened Up’, an unexpectedly gory story about a what should have been a minor surgical procedure. And ‘21’, a nice take from the POV of the killer. ‘Trick or Treat’ was a fun story and I enjoyed ‘The Artists’. 3 1/3 stars

Engaging

Although I am not all that fond of reading horror stories at the present time, the reader's voice held my attention and I found I was pulled into the story. from the start. The pronunciation of words and the reading of the story itself were clear and therefore easy to follow. It was pitched at the right level and held my interest. In Collection 2, listening to the "ghost" story I was kept literally on the edge of my seat! The thing I thought worked very well was the use by the narrator of a number of different kinds of accents for the various stories. I liked some stories better than others e.g. I particularly liked the one about the old lady called "Meredith" but they were all excellently narrated.
