Ends On A Cliffhanger!!!

Please note that this story ends on s cliffhanger!!! The narrator was a little dry, but I enjoyed the audiobook immensely once I got used to his voice. I hadn't previously read this story, so it came as a shock to me as the story progressed. I'm looking forward to listening to the conclusion.

I loved how protective he was of Charlene even thought they hadn't know each other long

If you’ve listened to books by Emerald Wright before, how does this one compare?

The narrator was ok but he could use some work on his narrating. He makes the story a little flat not horrible but in a long book it might become annoying.

Any additional comments?

While I liked the story it was short and ended on cliffhanger so I will have to get the next one to see what happens. Not a bad thing just FYI for those who hate cliffhangers

What made the experience of listening to Shifter the most enjoyable?

The story is short and sweet without a huge plot so you focus on the characters.

Did the narration match the pace of the story?

OMG, the narration! I love his voice, but I would compare it to a robot voice. I can't tell whigh character is speaking, so I couldn't just lose myself in the book. I was constantly trying to determine who was speaking.

A Nice book a girl who runs away from her beatting exhusband. She fell in the Woods and get rescued by a marinemensen/bearshifter. He helps her. Nice story. The story i think can be more enthousiast be told., but iTS a great story

Black Bear Book one

This story has an interesting story line but the narrator does not bring the characters to life for me. I was not lost in Ryker and Charlene's story. As their tale unfolds we see the kind of people these two are and we watch their attraction grow. I did not feel the emotions and felt that the characters were one dimensional. This is only the first part of their story and ends in a cliffhanger. This is a fast paced story that begins an adventure for love.
