Aura's life is anything but easy. Her boyfriend, Logan, died, and his slides between ghost and shade have left her reeling. Aura knows he needs her now more than ever. She loves Logan, but she can't deny her connection with the totally supportive, totally gorgeous Zachary. And she's not sure that she wants to. Logan and Zachary will fight to be the one by her side, but Aura needs them both to uncover the mystery of her past - the mystery of the Shift. As Aura's search uncovers new truths, she must decide whom to trust with her secrets and her heart.

I enjoyed this book as much as the first. It’s very hard to talk about this story without giving too much away! The love triangle continues, and Zachary isn’t willing to sit back and play second fiddle (pun intended) to a ghostly rocker. The level of emotion continues from the first book, as does the level of threat from assorted government agencies. They don’t seem to be willing to take a back seat either!
We also learn more about the background of the Shift, and some of Aura’s mother’s secrets. The story ends at a reasonable stopping point, but I’m chomping at the bit to read the next book. Still think the narrator does a great job too. Fun older YA series!
Second book, as good as the first!

Would you consider the audio edition of Shift to be better than the print version?
Love this mix of ghosts and people. The romance interests kept you wanting to see more between people and ghosts and between Zachary and Aura. A third book would be great. Because there is still alot of mystery to be explained around the shift concept. Also control of people's lives or non lives by agencies during the story was a scarey idea that inspires all rebels. What about Khristine Hvam’s performance did you like?
Loved the use of a scottish accent when needed for Zachary. Her voice was soothing for listening. Definitely better than a print version.Grabbing Story

Yes, I think the triology worth to be listening. The story is good, but there is something missing that I can't explain.Good.
