liked it, except for the ending.

The concept is very interesting, and I liked most of it. . . but I am really annoyed with the ending.

A fine story

A little bit of a slow pace to start. Overall though good story, should be considered a romantic sci-fi

So, I have thoughts about this. I loved the concept, but really struggled with the execution. With a subject this dark, I was hoping for something deeper, but it felt like I was reading a teenager’s diary. I get it…it’s a young adult novel, but that doesn’t mean that the characters can’t have complex thoughts or emotions. The main character was hard to relate to at times. But I think mostly, this didn’t feel like a good representation of grief. She witnessed the deaths of her boyfriend and best friend and it seemed like she just went on like nothing happened like “oh man, time to find more friends.” It just didn’t seem like any genuine emotion was shown.

great book!

Great book, it makes you see life from a different POV. My only complaint is that the ending feels so unfinished, like it leaves you hanging.

Loved loved loved

Beautifully written to the point of many recommendations!!!! The reading was executed well. 1st book from this author and I’m pleased

Like the book the ending was terrible.

I liked the book but the ending was not at all what I was expecting….. where’s the rest? What happens next who does she pick why doesn’t she pick you know who. (Trying not to spoil)
Ugh. The end left me with more questions and frustrated.

The plot twist at the end was amazing. I wish it had a better ending though. It could continue into another book if the author wanted.

Pleasantly surprised

Wasn't expecting this book to be as good as it was but I really liked the story and I thought it spoke volumes for ableism in society.
