Drew successfully navigated the dangers of a Post Apocalyptic America and made it home to his family in Colorado. However, he is mortally wounded and bereft of power. Now, Drew must not only survive, but thrive. He will have to force himself to grow strong enough to protect his loved ones.

This can be considered a post-apocalyptic progression novel. It has similarities to cultivation novels, but is not Wuxia, it is only slightly Xianxia.

This is the second book in a trilogy.

listened to the first book and enjoyed it a lot. one character did drive me nuts with a lot of his modern slang but I actually got use to him and now he is one of my favorite characters. I wish the next book was out cause I would be starting it already. but now alas I wait
