Rachael O'Brien, a girl from the cornfields of Canton, Ohio, returns to college in North Carolina in her old Ford. Before the engine has cooled, she finds herself in a passionate lip-lock with the man she's been fantasizing about, making sophomore year seem full of promise.
When a bejeweled oyster brooch arrives in the mail, trouble soon follows. Traveling in the same art circles as a mysterious hookah-smoking Turk as well as falling on the wrong side of the most-feared professor on campus - her advisor, her intern boss, and the teacher of an art history course she can't drop - puts a strain on campus life.
Staying on top of classes, navigating murky relationship waters, roommate drama, a psychic's warning, and a terrifying encounter from the past require cunning and wit for a girl to avoid being Shelled and Shucked.

This is a great book; this is the third book in the Rachael O’Brien Chronicles series written by Paisley Ray and narrated by Suzanne Cerreta. She did a great job with the different voices of each character in this book. It was very easy to listen to and I didn’t want to stop listening until the end. If you are looking for a great book with well-developed characters then you need to listen to this book. I am looking forward to listening to the next book by this author and narrator.I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader’s copy of this book. The free book held no determination on my personal review.
