Feeling All The Feelings
the piano and the words are beautiful blended together in Mary Lambert's collection of poems about life, love, heartbreak, trauma, abuse and healing. I had many thoughts and feelings hearing Mary read her poems and perform her music to the words I did not have when I read it, the one that kept coming back to me was ( Tears aren't a celebration of pain, Tears are the victory of survival ) I have been a long time fan and each new artistic journey she takes us on I am left feeling stronger, more hopeful and full of so many colors that the world doesn't have names for yet. I savior each chapter as I do a piece of hard candy, long lasting and sweet enough to calm the bitterness.

Mary Lambert is a soul wrenching, thought inspiring, lyrical genius who invokes the listener to feel the emotions and experiences of her journeys in each poem as if they were lived by the listener.
