An Enthralling Fantasy

I enjoyed this charming fantasy very much. Once the audiobook started, I was so involved that I had to listen until the end. Elves, wizards, and giant eagles were featured, and each played a role in this creative story. The tale was easy to listen to and moved from one action scene to another. George Tintura's narration was incredible, and his performance was a joy to experience. I was given a free copy of the audiobook, and I have voluntarily posted this review.

This was a very family friendly, young adult, sweet story with unique worldbuilding for the elf society and their origins. It was a coming of age story not for an elf, but for an eagle, which was a twist that I enjoyed. George Tintura brought the story to life with music as well as narration.

Language- None
Violence- PG- normal to genre, mostly fight scenes
Sexual Content- PG- just quick kisses, nothing hot and heavy

Very Lord of the Rings in writing style, but with less conflict and backstabbing. Magic is more available in this world and I like that the elves are more friendly and the explanation of where they come from. I didn't care for the utopian society that the author came up with for the elves. It's not set up to be a series. Overall a fun read for fantasy, elf fans and people who enjoy Lord of the Rings.

A fantastic spin on elves and giant eagles

this is a story even Tolkien would enjoy. elves, wizards, giant eagles, magic, mystery, and a little romance.
