Liked the book

The book was awesome.However , the narrator needs to work on men's voices as.
The main characters you're sounded like your old lady aunts or Somerset in j d robbs books.

Really, really, really fun & a great female MC

This is actually a stand-alone (hooray, finally, a whole story for us in one book!!! I'm so tired of limp tropes getting stretched over 3 books with storylines you can see coming ten pages away!!!) Anyway, this is a good one -- it's all pretty much perfect -- it's got witty dialogue, it's actually got a father that you would trade yours for in a heartbeat, it's got a dominant female MC and her honeyman's her perfect submissive, and yet he's a powerful, competent, much admired achiever. I said it has witty dialogue, and the narration is up to the challenge -- the best narration delivering that wit in great straight lines all thru the book ... it's such a relief to find such a fun, satisfying book. Highly recommend!

Possibly the worst reader

I read the print version of this book. The book is about average for a fantasy book. A few grammar errors, ok storyline, a good quick read. The reader though, she sounds like a computer. There is little to no inflection in her voice and she has very minimal ranger for different character voices. Listening to the reader ruins the book. I did not finish the audible version nor will I ever purchase a book with this reader again, even if it is a book I enjoyed in print.

The main male character is submissive

The book is fine there isn’t really any conflict and Ryan’s job as an assassin is the only thing that makes him tolerable in my opinion but even then he uses his submissive nature to slow reactions and kill people i think that is super cowardly and the fact that he lets a 15 pound puppy wolf protect him is super weak to me he’s basically all talk and will roll over for anything
