This book was a lot of fun. I’m really wanting the next book to be available in Audible. It is available for Kendall. I’ve already bought it and I’m gonna go read it now, but I like to have them in both.

The story was twisty enough and the characters were fully fleshed out.

Liked the whole production and a great story. I want to hear book 2 now. I hope it is soon available.

Light, funny, a little murder

I love the narrator’s voice! The story was funny and light hearted with some dark undertones. Lots of plot twists, very quirky.

I've listened to this 3 times now and I've enjoyed it more each time.
The underlying crime being investigated is gruesome, and isn't finalised here. Nicely balanced by fluff, a dragon who should never be allowed to prepare food unsupervised, and the answer to what unicorns truly poop.
Magic and magical creatures are known to exist and work along side humans in many roles.
Urban fantasy, check.
Comedy, check.
Murder mystery, check.
House hunting with a dragoness for a place to call two book hoards home, check.
Fun, somewhat wish-fullfilment story but done so very well. 6/5

Unnecessary chapter headings

I loved the story, characters, and narration and look forward to the next book. The constant repetitive chapter headings really took me out of the story though. It was especially annoying when the setting was still the same as the previous chapter. It's not as big a deal in print because it's easy to skim past but listening to them gets annoying fast.

Super fun

Wild and crazy magical police procedural. I loved it. It takes you on a wildly roller-coaster ride and is a super fun read.

This book will make you laugh. By the end of this story you will be looking for other by this author. It is true entertainment with laughter love and excitement.
