Looking forward to more Shadow Rider stories
The story line, as with the previous books, is a good one. The Ferraro family
is interesting and I enjoy the personalities.
However, I don't understand the need for the over long and over descriptive sex scenes.
This is the third series of Feehan books I have read, and each book/series seems to try to exceed the last in describing sex.
Ms Feehan is an excellent writer, who dosen't need to resort to porn to sell books, so why is she?

the narrator
The narrator was honestly awful, he didn't change his voice much for each character, and didn't even make the female characters sound feminine so it was truthfully hard to get past that. I enjoyed the book as much as I have the others in this series, but the narrator didn't help at all.

Very Good!
The story was very good. Enjoyed it from beginning to end. Glad that these two families got together, and can't wait to see what kind of action comes with them! Happy to see someone who was not a nice person get what she deserved! I didn't like all the sex, just seemed a bit too much. Also didn't like how some sentences were repeated from one chapter to the other. "I got it the first time"! Other than that, I truly loved and appreciated the book as a whole.

One of my favorites from this series.
At one point I hated Val’s guts, but not anymore.
If you have been following this series, you’ll find a very satisfying resolution to an awful problem that has been present all throughout.
The narrator was great as usual.

ummm...
So. I loved the Shadow Riders Series, it's the first full series I've read by CF. I've been hooked ever since Stefano and Francesca's story. I've been eagerly waiting for the arrival of each book to get more from the famous Ferraro family and after the last book, Shadow Flight, I couldn't wait to get my hands of Emmanuel's story. I've loved her since the beginning because she was always so strong and kick ass. However, this book was a real let down. Before I get into the story, I need to say this… Jim Frangione does NOT need to narrate dual POV books. I can tolerate him doing the narration but for all that is holy please Christine Feehan Stop hiring this man to narrate your books. He is extremely monotone and doesn't even change the voice for the female characters. This makes the book seem just a lot more boring that it is. I actually passed out a few times and had to keep rewinding the audiobook. How about a narrator that has a little more personality. Now, back to the book. This story was really repetitive. It felt like I heard the story of the Valentino/Emmanuelle's Shadow tie in every single chapter and by then end of the book… I could have explained it to the Shadow Riders myself with a lot more clarity and in less time. Emmanuelle was also really complacent and didn't really show that spunk that she had in the first five books. Though still a badass, she lots summer major points for me. Another thing that bugged me was that there was always still a question of Val's true intent with Emme ask the way up the the end and I'm still kind of in the fence about that whole thing. It wasn't like all the other Ferraro men where it was clearly written and there was maybe ONE cause for concern in that area but it was always explained away and never brought up again. I guess it goes in line with Emmanuelle's insecurity but it didn't really seem like it based on things he said and did in the previous book. As far as Eloisa, her story could've ended a lot better. Like I was really hoping for something more public that her kids could have watched as a form of justice for them. All in all, this book was ok… it's definitely not my favorite which is an opportunity missed because Emme IS IN FACT the princess of the Ferraro's she deserved something spectacular.

Great suspenseful romance
How to describe this book – hot and suspenseful. Christine Feehan writes a great book. She sets a scene up beautifully and doesn’t omit anything that’s pertinent to the storyline. I can’t wait to read another one of her books. I’m hoping this doesn’t end the series but…

Wow, what a story this was, the last in the family. Emme is the youngest. While fates put her back in Valentinos care again, it us more than just the shadows that threaten them both. Both families work together to get rid of the child marketing going on and surprise surprise there are more twists and turn.
This story was utterly delicious to listen to. I really hope that Christine writes more because this series once more was so different and so so enjoyable.

Brilliant
Another brilliant edition to the Shadow Rider series in Shadow Storm we explore the intense and troubled relationship between Emmanuelle ‘Emme’ Ferraro and Valentino ‘Val’ Saldi. They are supposed to be enemies but have fallen in love but, due to a misunderstanding have barely spoken in two years. Val will do just about anything to get his woman back and Emme is doing all she can to avoid him. She’s even considering an arranged marriage to not not only avoid Val but to do her duties to her family. Then Val is shot and things change at a rapid pace and the Ferraro and Saldi families become allies. Emme and Val must navigate many obstacles if their relationship is to stand a chance and there is of course other things occurring that make things even more difficult. All in all an action packed story with lots of laughs and intense sexual interactions between the two, yet another masterpiece of erotic paranormal romance by the queen of the genre and I highly recommend it.
