The narrator is outstanding!The research is outstanding! The reader will hear and feel every detail!

There Aren't Words...

Before you read this book, go online to a site that has the black & white photos that were taken. Until you see these, you won't appreciate anything of the story that Ranulf Fiennes writes so eloquently, fairly, and comprehensively.

Wild true story

My daughter is six and insisted on listening to this book. She was upset I listened on without her despite its length. We both were amazed by his achievements with the lack of better technology and equipment.

Fantastic Book!

I read the book about Shackleton and endurance several times, and this I think was just as good. I just really enjoyed this.

Shackleton and…

This is a great book about Shackleton, his life and adventures. Excellent detail and research. My only problem is the author interjecting his career into a biography about someone else. I’m reading this to learn about Ernest Shackleton, if I wanted to learn about the author I would read a book about him.

Excellent narration by a real human being, not lifeless, emotionless AI.
