Talk about puppy love!

This was a super story about finding yourself, forgiveness, accepting help and facing your demons. This was a really feel good story and the narrator had a voice that I could listen to all day.

This is the first installment in the Wolf Pack Chronicles Series. Mia and Rowan's second chance to love/friends to lovers is suspenseful, and action packed. The world building is intriguing. Joshua Schubart did a good job with the narration. #StoryOrigin

MISTAKES ARE HORRIBLE IF YOU DON’T LEARN FROM THEM

I received this audio book for free and am giving my honest and voluntary review

Mia and Rowan were childhood best friends until a savage wolf attack took Rowan away. Mia’s life became one mistake after the other while she searched for her best friend. Rowan has changed his life and is in hiding trying to forget his huge accidental mistake.

They reunite by accident while Mia is running for her life. Rowan can’t figure out how to tell Mia his secret which leads her into making another huge mistake. They go on the run.

This story shows how hard admitting one’s mistakes and going forward to become better can alter one’s life immensely. I loved the way, Mia figured out what she had to do and how Rowan came through in the end.

The narration was boring and couldn’t get me excited while there was a lot of activity to be vocalized. It was too monotoned. I give it a 3.5.

Good story, bad narration

I liked Mia and Rowan's story, but it really needs a new narrator because this one is awful. He is really bad and it makes it hard to listen to the book. He uses very little inflection and there are a few places where he starts a sentence over again and it was never edited out. I would recommend reading the ebook version.

Mia and Rowan were best friends when they were children. They did everything together including walking home from school. One day they are attacked by wolves and Rowan stays to allow Mia to escape. That is the last time she sees him for many years. She has become involved with a bad guy who abuses her and she finally gets away from him and is hiding in a small town.

Rowan was turned into a werewolf as a child and his parents moved him away from his hometown and has best friend. He has always felt bad that he wasn't there for her as they grew up. He still does not have his wolf under control and he has fled the only pack that tried to help him. When he sees Mia in the town near where he is hiding and she manages to get herself arrested, he jumps in to help her escape the werewolf deputies. But now he has to admit what he has become and hope she will not flee. Then they find out that her ex is after her and his old pack manages to find him. Now what do they do?
