Mystery and Romance Abound!

I received this audiobook free at my request, and am leaving this review voluntarily.

I can say that Ilana Diallo is certainly a new author to keep an eye on! This gripping tale kept me hooked from beginning to end, and the scenarios described were completely believable, which isn’t something that you always find in these types of books. Our two protagonists were very relatable and likable characters, and Diallo has penned an opening act with enough intrigue remaining, that I’m very much looking forward to the next chapter in this series.

Additionally, the narration by Catherine Wenglowski was fabulous. Her voice is definitely appealing to the ears, and she kept the story moving at an excellent pace.

If you like mysteries, romances, or some combination of the two, then I definitely recommend this!

Great Romantic Suspense!

This was my first Ilana Diallo's book, and won't be my last. This is the first book in the See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil, Series. Wow! I love this Romantic Suspense! Victoria and Rafael are great characters. The storyline is well written, well paced, intriguing, and filled with mysteries, and secrets. And that ending!! I need the next book in the Series! Catherine Wenglowski did an amazing job with the narration. I enjoyed listening to this audiobook. I was given a free review copy of the audiobook — at my request — and have voluntarily left this review.

Thoroughly enjoyable listen!

Secrets, which is Book 1 in the See No Evil, Hear No Evil, Speak No Evil series by Ilana Diallo was a too-short, fun listen. I say too short, because I definitely could have listen longer and didn't want it to end. Thankfully this is Book 1 in the series though, so I can look forward to listening to the next books in the series. I really enjoyed Ms. Diallo's writing style and she crafted a well-written, intriguing and believable story that kept me hooked from the first chapter. This is one mystery/romance that I'd definitely recommend!! I also want to add that this book does end in a cliffhanger, so don't be surprised when everything isn't wrapped up at the end.,

Catherine Wenglowski did a fabulous job narrating this story. She's easy to listen to and her performance really adds to the listening experience. Liars, Cheater and Money....Oh My!

This book has everything that makes a book great! Suspense, love interest and a little of 'who done it'. This book does leave you hanging, which in a way is a good thing, as you HAVE to know what happens next.

The story begins with Victoria Thornton, the only child of a multi-millionaire is called to come home to LA, when she learns that her father committed suicide. When she arrives home, her mother insist that he (Victoria's father) was swindled out of the company business by Rafael Rivera and it is Victoria's job to find out exactly what happened and get the family business back. Problem is, Victoria is actually falling in love with Rafael and doesn't believe that he did anything illegal in obtaining her father's business.

I enjoyed this book and am looking forward to Book 2 in this series

The plot drew me in right from the beginning.

I finished this book a few hours and have been lazy in getting back here to review it.

While I can't say I absolutely loved it, I will say I liked it enough that I will be getting back to this author to give another one of her books ago. In the end, it gets thumbs up from me.
