I NEED A HEA FOR HEATH STAT.. not another cliffy

I love this author’s work.. and in this, I loved the passion, the pain and the heated pleasures. I loved the plot development as hookups became hunger and casual became can’t get enough. I loved the emotional turmoil as walls came down letting feelings in. And I loved Heath’s character growth, his charm and passion as he slowly changed from a cold-blooded killer to a compassionate selfless lover. I loved his possessive alpha nature, his understanding and his willingness to find peace for Catalina.. the woman he proved he deeply loved. But I didn’t love the cruel suffering Heath endured at the hands of Damien who just won’t forgive and sadly I’m beginning to intensely dislike him for it.. and for what he continues to do. I didn’t love what Catalina did when she discovered the truth and I reeeeally didn’t love yet another cliffhanger ending. However, that won’t stop me.. I’ll be drumming my fingers as I wait impatiently for the next exciting climactic instalment of passion and pain doled out by this gifted author. Dual POV and Michael Ferraiulo was great as usual and Ramona Master was just meh ok for me.

WORTH A CREDIT? Yes?.. I truly love Penelope Sky’s anti-hero love stories as they’re always dished out with a good helping of fireworks, angst and drama. The HEA is predicted but the rollercoaster journey getting there is fraught with passion and pitfalls and this one is deliciously tortured and heartbreakingly hazardous.

is love stronger than hate

Relationships are hard enough but when there is such a Big Secret can be left with nothing.
Family with strong bonds is another entity that can comes between love no matter how strong it is.
Will Catalina and Heath ever have HEA?
Heath kept his promise to her
Will Damien ever let the pass go? Do you think Cat's last secret will ever come out ?
Penelope, really keeps us coming back to see if a woman can change a strong man with the Highest Power in the country.

I listened to the audio version of this story.
Cat and Heath story was beautiful and heartbreaking. When she finally gave into what she truly wanted even though she knew her brother would be livid. Heath changed a lot in this story because of her. I loved them together but what she let happen was just unbelievable especially after what he saved her from. I couldn't stand Damien in this story. I understand his rage but his actions were just sickening.
Will they survive what's coming or will death come for them.
Will she be able to live with the choice she made?

Perfection

This is officially my favorite couple and that’s saying something.

I loved Pearl Barsetti in Buttons and lace but these 2 are just beyond.
These 2 are just hilarious together.

She’s so funny she even makes the skull king chuckle.
My favorite part of this whole book is the convo about meeting Balto and his wife for dinner after she kicked his ass lol
Pure gold!

Female narrator has a child voice.

Good series but the female narrator has a child like voice. She reads too fast. I couldn’t finish the book. Bring back the previous narrators.
