Publisher's Summary

Six orphans, a dark and handsome cowboy, and the woman who must expand her heart to love them at Christmas.

Margaret Hutchins has been alone since her parents died of influenza in Chicago a decade earlier. When she moves to Cutter’s Creek in Montana Territory for a fresh start, as the new teacher for the little school, she discovers a cozy community where she’s welcomed and appreciated.

Heath Moore had his heart broken by Charlotte Beaufort years ago, and he’s hesitant to court again. Until, that is, he runs into Margaret just before Christmas - she’s beautiful, intelligent, and compassionate. But when she makes a decision that changes her life forever, it threatens to drive a wedge between them.

Enjoy spending a white Christmas in Cutter’s Creek, as a season of love unfolds in the most unlikely way.

Heartwarming!

I really enjoyed this sweet romance story. It had such a great storyline. I loved how Margaret was selfless, Heath was so supportive, and it was nice to watch the children transition into having a sense of belonging and learning to trust. The author and narrator were both great!
I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.

Season of Love

Margaret is one determined lady, she knows all to well about being alone. When the 6 orphan children come to town and she realizes they have all been split up she takes it upon herself, when not one else will, to take the kids in. Some object in the town because she is single, but in the end she ends up with the kids. This story will really pull on your heart strings as her struggles and those of the children come about and the kindness of a sweet neighbor. Great job on the narration.

In this one the female character is different and I really liked her. Like many of this authors stories this is just as good as her other books.
Would recommend it to those who love sweet romance.

Enjoyable

This is such a wonderful story. Margaret is a woman who puts everyone and everything before herself. I loved how by just being herself the kids fell in love with her. So much love and compassion in this story.

Six Orphans, Single Teacher and Lonely Rancher

The story begins with a husband and wife and their 6 children heading west in a wagon train. Sadly their mothers skirts are caught in a wagon wheel, she falls and is run over. It isn’t long before their father dies...a tragedy Im sure was not unusual.
Margret is a single teacher with a desire for family and has a warm and open heart. Heath is a rancher, he was in a prior book, who didn’t win the girl and is a bit skittish...but likes Margaret.
This a warm and sweet story of life when things were isolated and harder to live day to day,
Margaret and Heaths, and the 6 children, become a family before they know it...an enjoyable story with a narrator who fits the western life... or the best female voice..he could try a little less to sound female and I think that would a thallus be better
A good bargain for a sweet story.

Exceptional

A very sweet story of a teacher who takes in six orphans and the handsome rancher who helps out. Neither have an inkling for love. But that doesn't stop the heart. I received a complimentary audio and I am reviewing voluntarily.

Beautiful story of 2nd chances & unconditional love

Due to a series of unfortunate events, the 6 Singer children arrive in Cutter’s Creek orphaned and afraid. The townspeople attempt to help, but no-one wants 6 children so they are split up. The unhappy children keep running away and a town meeting is held to determine their fate. Single, school teacher, Margaret Hutchins, understands what it’s like to be orphaned...she lost her parents at 14 yo. When no one proffers a solution to keep the Singer kids together, Ms. Hutchins volunteers! Can a single woman really take care of 6 kids on her own? Maybe not all on her own...single, rancher Heath Moore has had his heart broken and vows to keep himself aloof. However, when the brave school teacher volunteers to have 6 orphaned children, ages 4-12, live with her, Heath offers his help. Can this ragtag bunch form the perfect blended family?
This is a beautiful story of 2nd chances and unconditional love. Ms. Hutchins had no visible means of supporting an impromptu family but trusted that God would provide. Even when the eldest child is disrespectful and disagreeable, Margaret doesn’t give up. Glad that we get to the bottom of this story that was alluded to in a prior book in the series. Love this series.
I received a complimentary copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

An instant family

Margaret the single willingly gives up hope of someday marrying when she takes on 6 orphans to allow their family to be together. After all what man would take her now that she's a single mom of 6 children? Enter Heath who actually admires her selfless love for these orphans. Great story and characters right down to the smallest child.
